The abysmal state of Korean journalism:
A couple of national newspapers (one of them being the largest in the country) published stories about some Trump campaign documentary, in which they say that Oliver Stone (filmmaker) was one of the associates in the situation room with Trump to watch Kamala Harris speak at DNC.
The problem is that this report was based on a couple of clips and some people tweeting about an old man in it resembling Oliver Stone. The individual they are referring to is most likely this guy.
There are many frustrating cases of bad journalism but this one stands out for me for some reasons. Regardless of what Oliver Stone actually believes nowadays, I could instantly recognize that the person in the screenshot was not him. Yet two paid journalists, including a guy who lives in Washington as a correspondent for the largest newspaper of a nation, wrote this!
i wanna know what benny looked like as a tribal !!!! :’D (if you talk with benny at caesar’s tent he tells you his secret backstory)
PS.: of course i drew the picture too but i couldn’t find a way too work it into this short scene so here’s that as a bonus:
(also: benny has lots of pictures of his and his chairman family before and after their boot rider days in his jacket, at least in my headcanon)
Jason Greenfield from Person of Interest is Bud Askins in Fallout Prime series and I’m all for it
being a leftist fallout fan is fun because you either run into people who understand your analyses of the series/background/characters or you run into brotherhood/enclave/legion/ncr dorks without no critical thinking skills who missed the point.
I have been thinking that Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye would look great in NCR uniforms.
It's been quite a disgusting week.
An 8-year-old girl got stabbed to death by a teacher in her school. At the time of writing, all we know about the killer is that she is in her 40s, has been depressed (not a major factor but emphasized in the discourse for some reason), had history of starting altercation with other teachers, and was planning to kill random child who stayed late in school.
When the initial findings were reported, teachers have flooded comment section to insinuate that the killer was not a full-time teacher but caretaker for children who stay after school because their parents work, which was found to be a baseless lie.
Then it was revealed that the deceased kid's parents heard the killer's breathing and footsteps which were recorded in the kid's cellphone thanks to some app. The teachers are more concerned about the use of such app than the fact that a kid got murdered by a teacher in the school.
Fast forward to today, some outlets published interviews with the kid's father. In some parts of the interviews he seemed to have asked a famous K-pop singer that the kid had been a fan of to visit her funeral if she had time. Some TERFs on Twitter took notice of this and started to accuse the father of exploiting his daughter's death and even dug up some of the posts he had previously written in a different website to justify such harassment.
I'm not interested in arguing whether or not those posts were in poor taste. What pisses me off is that they are trying to shit on the family of a dead girl in service of the middle-aged homicidal teacher lady. Before taking aim at the victim's father they were complaining that the newspaper headline includes information about the killer's gender, which is often not the case when the criminal is male. Yes, the killer was a woman, but so was the victim! Do these fuckers only care about grown-ass women but not the young girl whose life was cut short?!
Funniest tweet about Fallout live-action I’ve read so far is one complaining that a certain vault resident whining about outsider refugees was blatant stereotype of conservatives.
I don’t know man, I wouldn’t expect a conservative blowhard to be willing to acknowledge sinister past of their community and swear “Never Again”.

Yo, I just found your account and I love your deathclaw a lot but I don't know if you always get the question but what ur OG of making your deathclaw?
i wanted an oc who was outrageously incongruous with the current tone of the fallout setting while being entrenched in lore so arcane and blunt that it would be difficult to argue against using only the lens of "canon."
pedants and right-of-center people vocally favor an athematic, hard-scifi approach to fallout, obsessing over little perceived inconsistencies and miscellaneous enclave tech as if that is what the setting is for. Cara is a time-travelling deathclaw and she's here to unify the Fallout setting with portals and rituals and whatever else makes self-serious military fps bros scoff. she's the logical end of the train of thought pylon v13 set me on
