Can I share some of my Legend of Zelda Dream stuff with you 🥺

👀👀👀 go ahead bro!!

i want to talk more seriously about the fact bruce wayne has been canonically diagnosed with ocd, and i want to make a huge masterpost pointing to actual comic panels and junk, but the stuff i actually end up thinking about with regards to the subject is something like this:

bruce probably has intrusive thoughts about the sudden death of his children, which is, uh, fucking scary to deal with to say the least, and one of his compulsions is simply to check in on them. y'know. to make sure they're alright. if he can see they're literally alive right in front of him, the thoughts lose their teeth and it just becomes a matter of countering it whenever it comes up.

so the kids get used to these seemingly random check-ins. maybe they understand it's because of the ocd or maybe they don't, i would hope that bruce would be open about that but we're talking about bruce after all. but anyway. when dick was old enough to start going out a lot on his own, the check-ins would take the form of texts.

it started with something like... "where are you?" which to bruce seemed like a perfectly innocent question, but being on the other side of a random "where are you?" message is uh. concerning! so dick had to explain to bruce that that was a surefire way to give somebody a panic attack about if they were supposed to be somewhere and forgot somehow... so, it became more like "you okay?" and it would go on like that for a while. it comes off as very... needy from the outside, probably, but that's okay.

bruce does these check-ins with all of his kids as they come into his life - it got particularly overbearing and frankly frustrating after jason died (you know, the exact thing he was afraid would happen...) but by the time of, like, cass joining the family, and then especially once jason turns out to be alive again, he's able to ease up on it. and technology evolves pretty rapidly, y'know? so...

bruce's check-in texts morphed into sending his kids absolute barrages of heart emojis, and the first time he decided to do this, it made everyone concerned that he was replaced by a martian somehow. but no. it's perfectly logical to bruce, he loves his kids, heart emojis express love... what is there to be confused about!

anyway, this has been my vision, thank you for listening to my ted talk.

I watched another Batman Brave and the Bold episode and!! OK so this batman is like really nice actually he's like a mix of the old 60s batman and he's got the skills of the normal animated series batman!! Hes super cool, is actually a good guy, smiles, is q normal person, qnd honestly seems lkke a great dad!!! There's an episode with Nightwing and like.. 🥺😭

Hes still not great with communication but its very funny :)

ANYWAY NOT WHAT I MEANT TO TALK ABOIT EXACTLY THIS BATMAN IS JUST A GREAT GUY

So the recent!! Episode i watched hes like!! Best friends with Wonder Woman and Superman apparently and they crack jokes at each other and they even. The y even like!! Have hangouts at this one restaurant im. Im sorry I need a minute.. its. Its the batman I've always wanted fuck.. he's nice and funny and hhhh

Another tangent!!! THERES THIS ONE EPISODE OK!! AND IN THE EPISODE!! BATMAN GETS LIKE.. VERY INJURED SO SOME OF HIS FRIENDS ARE LJKE . ILL PROTECT GOTHAM AND BATMAN IS LIKE .. NO

AND AT THE END OF THE EPISODE!! A BUCNH OF BATMANS COME OUT OF A PORTAL AND ARE LIKE "WE HEARD THAT YOU NEEDED SOME HELP"

Anywa here's some more Batman Beyond headcanons :)

Terry alwasy shows up to league meeting extremely early or extremely late. There is no in-between.

Terry actually prefer more like. Lighter shades of colors! Like how the batsuit is like. Black and intense red they'd prefer if the red was a more. Lighter shade.

They have a sort of friendly rivalry with Warhawk. The sort of like. In battle I got ur back but. Any other time I can and will fight you behind a denys.

Barta and Terry being little shits solidarity!! They're like cousins ig hahsksk

Max and Terry are chaotic. They tease and snark at each other bit never in a mean way.

I personally think Max is aromantic!! Shes just. Not interested. I like to think that neogotham is very accepting of lgbtq+ stuff in the future, because honestly canon is dead to me 💗

I think Max decided to stay more or less tech support and stuff for Terry after being on a mission in his place. like!!!! Like ok Terry is Bruce's "assistant " right? And the media definitely would pick up on it because . Terry is generally with Bruce if Bruce goes out in public. So maybe some dumbass thugs are like. Ok kidnap the assistant and hold him ransom for a lot of money!! Now u bring in Max as Batman !! Max beats the shit out of everyone, saves Terry, and in the end figure s out that, honestly this part just isn't for her. She won't mid stepping in if needed but she'd prefer to just stay on the sidelines anf help in other ways!!! Also u know this queen has total access to the batcomputer because Bruce cannot keep her out!!

Ok that last one was kinda long so here some short ones!!

Dana and Terry try to study together at least once a week, and pkay rock paper scissors to determine which person gets to decide where they study

In school Dana is more likely to beat u up than Terry is lmao

Max , Dana, qnd Chelsea have girls night out every other week

Max' cat is named Empress.

Selina Kyle can and will show up at the manor randomly and talk shit about Bruce with Terry (listen i need this. Selina is a great character and I love her . Also Terry literally stole the batsuit they would get along great with Selina)

Anywa here's some headcanons for Terry and Dana!!

Terry has ADHD! They don't mind most pronouns but prefer they them! Definitely Pansexual! Favorite games growing up was the skylanders and the zelda series! Hates sticky or mud like textures. They had a catgirl faze and definitely still has the warrior cat books!! They used to hiss at people during that faze (lmao im projecting I did this all the time)! Loves Dana ! Drinks their respect women juice daily. Best friends with Max and they both need over video games and occasionally sea creatures :) Terry likes warm colors. Terry also bites people but we both already know that lol

Dana !! We stan!!! Dana is very capable and strong but she's generally not in super dangerous situations. Took karate classes whne she was a kid! She her pronouns! Bisexual!! Wasn't super into video games but does enjoy them! Dana likes trying on new clothes and such and baking because it gives her a nice warm feeling and she just likes to enjoy herself! Also teaching Terry to cook complex meals. Definitely talks smack about Terry with Matt. Dana likes to drag Terry on nature walks outside of Gotham. She loves the smell of the flowers. Not afraid to take a stand or defend herself (remember the flaming stick she beat up rats with) . Knows her own self worth and knows when something isn't working for her !!

i really can't stand this anymore oh my god

so i have made a few posts talking about this, but my mom is Making Ultimatiums that are going to fuck me over financially just for the hell of it. i am currently unemployed, receiving no more benefits, and i have absolutely no savings. at this point i have a negative balance on my bank account and i have nothing much i can do about it. i am a trans man with adhd, ptsd, and severe depression so it has become inhospitable in my current living environment, and i need to move, except i currently live in one of the most expensive places in the US and i don't know how to drive. basically, i need to buy a bike, get a plane ticket, and find a job. so this is a mutual aid request but also like. if any of you know of any trans people who know of any trans safe living areas that are not wildly expensive, please message me!
