Just had my nth conversation with someone about mask-wearing today - yet another well-intentioned moron who was like 

‘But the virus is gone now’ (it isn’t) 

‘But the mask is uncomfortable’ (ventilators are worse)

‘But you’re young, you won’t die’ (having this thing could impact my health for decades to come + it’s my responsability to protect those who’re more vulnerable than I am because that’s how society works)

‘But are you going to live in fear for the rest of your life’ (taking concrete safety measures actually helps me feel more in control and less worried)

‘But are you going to give up everything and stay inside like a rat’ (no, but I’m definitely going to decide what’s worth risking my health for, and shopping for bread rolls is not very high on my list of literally-to-die-for activities)

‘But what if they never find a vaccine’ (then we’ll get used to the situation just like we got used to a thousand other things like seat belts, bike helmets, and increasingly weird true crime podcasts). 

I know it’s tiring to have people call you paranoid all the time - but you’re right and they’re wrong. Check the news, keep a safe distance from others whenever possible and keep wearing your mask!

My parents married each other because they LOVE each other. And they are damn good parents I should say, that still together after 20 years, still LOVING.

And on top of it my mom is far more superior than my dad in a lot of things, so she is faaar from "vulnerable" here. Really, this woman is scary as hell when angry.

Cole listened to Zane read with that velvety voice of his. He observed how content Zane was when reading a book, scroll, or any medium of literature. He did read from time to time when he was human but he never truly appreciated reading until he met the wintry beauty. After never doing so much as go into the library since he was cursed, his reading skills have admittedly fallen behind.

“Now what did the snake say?” Zane showed Cole the page he was reading.

Cole looked at the quote Zane pointed at. He remembered when he read with his mother when he was a very small child. It was just like that now and with his memories guiding him, he deciphered the text aloud.

“So I can… see you more… c-clear… clear…ly…” Cole struggled but he his literacy didn’t entirely leave him.

“You did so well. I’m really happy.” Zane commended the beast. Cole felt something funny deep in his chest at that moment. It must be from that raspberry cake Zane made for him. Not even his servants who catered to his every whim for years never made anything so delicious. Yeah, he’s sure that was it.

Zane glanced at Cole with his deadly fangs, gnarled horns, sharp claws, and scraggly mane. He was admittedly hard to look at, even now, but there was something about him, something he never noticed before. He can’t tell what it is. All he knew is that it was there or maybe it has been the whole time and it had him drawn towards the beast. He was also curious to know what that something was.

For now, the beauty and the beast basked in each other’s company. Soon, the answer they’re looking for will make itself clear to them, like seeing the true beauty from within the heart.

My thoughts of Zane's "sacrifice"

So, he wasn't destroyed, he was banished to realm that called "Never-realm".

But I don't think that he is "sacrificed". I am 99.9% sure that he wanted to get there, If it was Zane in that moment... I'm sure it wasn't him.

He(or something in him) didn't want to give Wu the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu (Why forbidden🤔?). He hesitated for a moment, but after Wu yelled at him he "woke up".

And that moment of "sacrificing" - look at his pose! This pose directly radiates confidence in that action.

And look at his eyes! They narrowed! Narrowed in a bad meaning! In a bad, tricky meaning!

He definitely knew what he(or not he) doing!

And before this, when Aspheera(right?) tried to shoot in Wu, everyone was shocked and scared, but Zane has his eyebrow up, like if he(definitely not Zane) has a great idea(how to get to his real body... Ahem..Ice Emperor.. Ahem... ):
