Does anyone know who the artist of this work is? I've been looking for him for a long timeš„ŗ, and I can't find a trace (excuse my English, I'm using Google Translate)
Lyn wasnāt thinking about power, ambition, their plans. She didnāt care. Keldor was alive.
I can just imagine how awful it would be to be friends with Stolas
Not only are you dealing with a man who can never stop crying about things that he himself caused, this man also sings about his pain and istg is the definition of āwoe is meā
Like justā¦. Shut up⦠please.
And like, what the hell are you even gonna talk with him about, heās a royal prince, is all youāre gonna talk about golf?? I mean, if you like golf then good on you but itās not much to talk about other than ball drop in hole! Do you watch Happy Gilmore once a week?? And heās like āthis Adam Sandler gentleman is quite humorousā of course he is! Itās fucking Adam Sandler, the guy who was in Click! (Why have I pivoted to Adam Sandler-)
Andā¦.then thereās also the other, problematic parts of him. But Iām sure I donāt need to clarify.
But realistically would anyone ACTUALLY want to be friends with Stolas, if you take everything into account about him?
Why do I keep ending up in fandoms that glorify and romanticise abuse? I donāt know how it keeps happening, but hereās what I signed up for when I entered my fandoms, vs what I got:
Helluva Boss expectation: Wacky assassin comedy about demons killing people in the living world on behalf of sinners in Hell
Helluva Boss reality: Watch BlitzĆø get raped and then be forced to date his rapist but also feel bad for the rapist because heās an uwu soft sad gay bean
Fruits Basket expectation: A drama/slice of life show about a girl finding family, and her and said family healing from their trauma
Fruits Basket reality: All of the trauma in the Sohma family can be boiled down to the most abusive cunt youāll ever meet in your life, but also WHY DONāT YOU FEEL BAD FOR AKITO THE ABUSER? DONāT YOU WANT HER AND SHIGURE TO DATE? Also thereās incest and pedophilia and for some reason thatās treated like itās ok
She-Ra expectation: Reboot of that cool show from the 80s about magical princesses fighting against the EVIL OVERLORD
She-Ra reality: Abusive war criminal gets away with all of her crimes, and as a bonus, she gets to date the very girl she abused. NOW FEEL BAD FOR THE ABUSIVE WAR CRIMINAL
This is honestly probably my most favorite thing I've written lately
(Summary: Stella puts a lot of effort and care into her image. It's hard to maintain.

You may get asked this a lot, so please excuse my ignorance - but how do you go about constructing character expressions and body language and such? Thanks!
Besides The Basics (construction of heads and skulls and muscles and skeletons and how they move), Iāll go over some things Iāve been trying to work on myself lately:
1. Treat expressions as a single gesture of the face/head, as opposed to a head and then individual features dumped on a plate and arranged into an expression.
First, just get down the big shapes of your expression, just like you would for a pose. Ā
So say I wanna do a low angle angry pose. Ā I know the features are gonna be all mashed down at the bottom because of perspective.
Ā Scribble it down
start to put on features
fix stuff
put on more stuff
fix stuff again
erasing and flipping and stuff a whole bunch until you are happy with it or stop caring
Whole head is a gesture!
2. Just like a facial expression, jot down where the important parts of an entire pose goes first. Ā You can force the rest of the body to fit the pose.
So here I knew I wanted the shoulders tilted a certain direction, and te hand to be in that particular position in front of her face.Ā
Thatās the simplest explanation I got. Ā Donāt be afraid to push and pull faces and bodies around! Worry about being āon modelā last!
This was already talked about in someone elseās post, at least regarding the 200x Motu comics and how it treats its female characters, but I wanna rant a bit about how little of Evil-Lynā power is actually shown in the Rise of the Snakemen comic (issue 3) compared to the 2002 show.
In the comic they clearly and explicitly show Evil-Lyn defeating the whole Snakemen army that was attacking Castle Grayskull in one fell swoop.
Not only that but it added to her character. It showed that she respects and seeks out those that are powerful to improve her own standing and doesnāt take their defeat lightly if she happened to be working for them at the time. Especially if sheād been treated the way she was by the Snakemen and King Hiss: threatened, nearly eaten and just pushed to the side once her service was considered done. Like she said, the whole affair of aiding them was a complete waste of her efforts.
Compare that to how that scene played out in the show: ⦠Sheās not even there! Sheās gone after King Hiss, Rattlor and Snake-Face enter the castle. Instead, the Snakemen all turn into lemmings after Hiss is beaten and throw themselves after him into the pit. Next we see her is when sheās running from Skeletor and his warriors begging the Faceless One to help her. You know- the character that was also incredibly nerfed.

-------couple information--------
Character: Frieza (Dragon Ball)
Oc: Karik (or Karikan Marilyn)
(I would call them Godalien, or something like that)
This is my second most favorite char/oc beside CxH, so I'm about to yap about them :>>
The one you see on the right is Karik. He is a god, literally a god. If you're wondering why is he in that form of SS4 then you're right, he is a saiyan, actually the first and the most ancient saiyan (He didn't know he created a race though, not until he visited Beerus at the seventh universe). I was convinced that SS4 was the form of ancient saiyans.
He is a close friend to Lord Zeno, like his brother or something. Yes, I did say brother. This one is 9 million-year olds, guys, literally the oldest I could think of (And also because I searched Zeno age and it popped up, hehe). He was there when the multiverse was created, just didn't remember a shit since he's old.
He was feared, and maybe respected (just maybe) by the other gods, not as much as Zeno though since Karik is much easier to read, and he doesn't destroy planets out of fun. His work is to protect and keep the multiverse in control, the balance, yes. If Zeno is powerful in the way he could manipulate the multiverse existence then Karik is physically powerful. See those rings around his neck and arms, they were to keep his power in control and not accidentally destroy any universe.
With that power, it's understandable that people rarely try to get on his nerve. Yet, when he first met Frieza, the little emperor didn't know Karik was a god. That was one of the rare times in his 9 millions-long life did Karik be treated like a lowly being (You know Frieza's snake tongue). He was intrigued.
Karik fell first. Frieza is...well, he is not the kind of...you know. It was one-sided all the time, but look at that fod face. Does he look like he care?
------
So that's the start :>>
I love this cp so much. From the size (1m58 x 1m92) to the chemistry and all the stuffs they have (Their relationship is sensual as fvk, like they fvk all the time, whenever Karik is bored and you know the stamina of the strongest god)
This has been an Evil Lyn appreciation post.
Because letās face it, the only He-Man characters who really have much semblance of any kind of plot that doesnāt involve GETTING MORE POWER are the girls.
Also, without that helmet, Evil Lyn is just plain HOT. :o
