Frankie is home, they found and removed 3 more tumors than expected and depending on the results from having them looked at there's some concern for the long wrong. But he's home and curled up against my stomach right now. This is a new vet so I was worried but they're amazing, they called throughout the day to give us multiple updates, they checked all his organs to see if it spread without charging us more and were very kind about my distress of leaving him.

Anyways Frankie now looks like his namesake Frankenstein lol

dropped him off, pick up isn't till 4:30 so I have to wait 8 hours until I see him again :(

Dreading tomorrow, I wrote a note about how Frankie while trained and usually very good is also an escape artist and what works to keep him from doing so. Largely its a me problem because Frankie's only gone under one other time and that was at the vet I worked at and I stayed with him all day I really don't know how this will go

Shoutout to my husband's work who already pay over twice the minimum wage, but has kept dei, has raised pay of their employees due to rising costs, but also very nicely given him the night after my dogs surgery off with pay despite the fact that the surgery will be done and Frankie home before he has to go to work
