Is magenta a cool color or a warm color?

Because if you think about it Magenta is a mature of a warm color and a cool color but magenta could technically count as both.

(And I'm not counting really dark or really light magenta because its more obvious that its on the cool color side or the warm color side, I mean bc29ba type magenta)
