New Hazbin Hotel Au: Alastor and Niffty in Heaven

So basically this is an au where Lilith tries to redeem sinners, and uses Alastor as a Guiniee pig since she owns his soul. She makes a deal with Adam to get her and Alastor up to heaven and give them Angel forms.

Now where does Niffty come into this? Well her contract with Alastor is that he will protect her in exchange for her soul, and Alastor can’t exactly do that if he’s in heaven and she’s stuck in hell. So Niffty ends up roped into this as well and becomes an Angel.

So Lillith is chilling up in heaven for 5 years and is enjoying herself, but Alastor and Niffty HATE it there. It so different from hell and they know no one, they can’t talk to anyone they DO know because someone might find out they’re from hell (breaks the contract), and to top it all off they hate their new angel forms because they feel uncomfortable in them (this is because their redemption was forced, not natural).

So Alastor and Niffty hate being in Heaven and work together to figure out a way to escape. They force themselves to fall by cutting off their wings and shattering their halos before falling down to hell. Lillith is pissed that her plan didn’t work but remains in heaven due to her contract. Alastor and Niffty stay in hiding, slowly healing from their wounds and regain a more demonic form. Alastor attempts to release Niffty from her contract to her horror, but they end up settling on Alastor owing Niffty a favor of her choosing. (I’m also considering Alastor being freed from his contract with Lilith at this point)

A year passes by since they returned to hell, and it’s been seven whole years since they made an appearance in public. One day after the yearly extermination Niffty is watching the news and discovers that Charlie, Lilith’s daughter is also planning to redeem sinners now. Niffty is horrified by this and believes that this will end just as badly as Lilith’s plan did, and calls in her favor with Alastor to stop Charlie’s plan. Alastor decides to infiltrate it from the inside, and the events of the show/pilot happen, and all along Alastor and Niffty are trying to push Charlie into giving up her goal on redemption.

Let Faruzan stare at Sumeru city, comparing it to the one she once knew. Faruzan should struggle dealing with how things have changed. She should search for records of her friends, her classmates, and even just acquaintances in order to learn what happened to them. Faruzan cries at night over the loved ones who died thinking they would never see them again. Let her blame herself for not solving that puzzle quick enough.

Let Olaf from Mondstaht confuse people for his friends from decades ago. Let all his jokes fall flat because they only made before anyone was born. Let him be awkward around Diona and Draff, the kin he lives with, who don’t really know him and only took him in out of pity and his connection to him through blood. Let him be terrified of the cold and ice and snow, because he doesn’t want to wake up in a different time again. Let him wake up in a Springvale that’s comfortably familiar yet terrifying foreign to him at the same time. Let him rely on the bottle to drown out his misery, ignoring the displeasure of his great great… Diona when he does so. Let him find comfort in a well dressed bard who gets his jokes, who understands his stories like he was there, who has wisdom well beyond his years, who feels like an dream when he wakes up the next morning, hangover hitting him hard.

Let those characters find each other one day, and share a drink as they can relate to each other’s struggles. Let them understand how they miss the world they had left behind, and are constantly reminded of every day. Let Faruzan and Olaf mourn together.

venti forgets to breathe, sometimes. he doesn't need to - he is the air around them. his eyes are just a little too vivid if you look at him directly. he doesn't bleed when he should and he doesn't sleep, either.

xiao stays away from liyue harbor. he doesn't want to corrupt them with his karma, and he doesn't want to frighten them, either. he knows what he looks like: too-gold eyes with too-slitted pupils, ears too pointed and fangs too sharp to be human. if you look at him in the corner of your eye, black and green and red dance across his skin and reach out to you.

ei has never learned to be human. her eyes are blinding and electricity crackles over her skin. the puppet she inhabits has too-smooth skin, porcelain clear and cold to the touch. she moves too quickly, too sharply, like a bolt of lightning that cannot slow down.

zhongli forgets human customs. he speaks of events from thousands of years ago like they were yesterday and talks in long-dead languages. to be under his gaze while solidifying a contract is to feel the weight of millennia upon your back. he makes no sound when he walks and yet his steps can shake the ground.

Wait a fricken second, I recognize this guy!!!! I watched Weeby play this game for a bit (got past the second murder and was in the third part (not seen victim yet)) but never finished watching. I completely forgot about!

scaramouche is so freaking hilarious to me cause like. look at him. he's a short man with so much rage. he's famously very pretty when he's not snarling at you. he wears an ostentatious hat that can be seen from a mile away. he was 'set free' by his mom/creator for having a heart then proceeded to spend the next five centuries looking for one. he was adopted by a bunch of swordsmiths when found in the wild. he knows how to make a sword as he was taught by the best professional swordsmoths of his country. he knows how to take of babies and small children, even if they're sick. he also knows how to make a nation collapse on itself and gained a whole moniker out of it. those qualities somehow exist simultaneously. he killed the entirety of raiden gokuden but spared the descendant of the man he thought had betrayed him because even then he held love in his heart for him. he literally endured dottore's mad experiments for probably centuries. he's been to the abyss. he figured out that Teyvat's sky is fake. he straight up reached into the tree of life and erased himself so that he could reverse the fate of those he had wronged. not even vengeance. that wasn't even priority, no he wanted to save the ones he loved. when that didn't work he accepted his memories and decided to work on atonement and vengeance. at the same time. he enrolled in the akademiya – the highest educational facility in Teyvat – by getting into an argument with a bunch of researchers because he has to have the last word. he woke up in a fantasy world and scoffed at the prophecy handed to him. he saved the replica of one of Gold's most dangerous creations by saying 'you need head pats, friends and therapy'. he then proceeded to give the head pats, friendship and therapy to his baby-sized dragon friend. he wakes up everyday and chooses violence, then somehow managed to be kind anyway.
