Rody somewhat pulled away at first, but quickly gave into the hero’s tug on his hand. He didn’t try pulling away once his hand was on the hero’s chest either. It was a good thing that Pino was out of sight.
He did his best to give no reaction to the accusation. He would admit no such thing.
“Don’t look at me like that.” Rody nudged at Deku with the hand that was planted on his chest. He knew that was a dangerous look in the hero’s eyes.

Izuku doesn’t say anything as he approaches Rody and grabs one of his hands before placing it on his chest with a smirk. “You wouldn’t have asked about a tiddy keychain for me if you didn’t want one now would you rody?” raising an eyebrow with a mischievous glint in his eyes like he’s waiting to see what move rody will make now.
Rody squinted at the redhead before pulling out the bird that he totally wasn't hiding.
"Dunno. That's up to you; what do you think?"
There she was in his hands. Out in the open.

“Uwa–whatcha got there?”
Rody knew fairly well himself that he wouldn't have been able to outrun the villain either. His parkour and running abilities wouldn't do him any good in a situation like this.
His grip tightened the moment they blasted forward. Even if he had prepared himself, the suddenness of the leap managed to catch him by surprise. Rody couldn't help but glance back and look at the damage the villain caused in their previous standing spot.
Holy crap. He shut his eyes tightly as the hero moved back and forth. This would all be over soon. They would get out of here. There was nothing to worry about.
With his sense of sight gone thank to his eyes being closed, Rody had noticed that the villain’s quirk gave the slightest audio cue. At the sound of the quirk being fired again, he couldn’t help but peek back.
The attack was coming quick. Was Bakugou aware of it? Was he going to dodge? Why was it taking longer than the previous times for him to move?
Out of instinct and panic, Rody's mind had decided that there was no other option.
He let go.
He kicked Bakugou away while doing so, making sure that they were both out of the line of fire. Without a doubt, falling from this height was scary, but Rody was hoping that he could cushion his landing well enough with his parkour knowledge.

It figured that he’d be stuck babysitting when a villain attacked. Now he had to get this extra out of harm’s way while taking out said villain. “‘course I got a fuckin’ plan, what kinda stupid-ass question is that?” He did not, in fact, have a plan at the moment, but he was working on one. At the moment, they were hunkered down waiting for a chance to move without getting blasted into pieces by their quirk. At least there weren’t any other civilians in the immediate area he had to worry about.
Flexing his fingers, tiny explosions crackled off in his palms. Their cover wouldn’t hold up forever; it was already starting to wear away under the constant assault. But as easy as it would be to just go out and start fighting them, the place was becoming structurally unsound. His explosions could make it collapse and crush them all--it was lucky that the villain wasn’t doing that already.
Crouching down, he glared over his shoulder at Rody. “Get on and hold on.” It was the best option for now.

Rody had just finished bussing two tables, the trays he was carrying now full of dirty dishes. It had been a fairly steady night; not too busy, not too slow. He only had had an hour or two left of his shift. He could survive.
Ring-a-ding.
The brunette paused, gaze landing on the newcomer. She wasn’t a familiar face in this establishment... nor in this area.
“Hey, welcome to Stan’s bar, feel free to take a seat wherever you like; be that the bar or at one of the tables, and I’ll be with you shortly.” Every customer had to be greeted with a smile.
With that, he disappeared behind a door that led to the kitchen to dispose of the dishes he had.
When the handshake was over, his hand went up to give Pino a comforting scratch. She didn't actually need the comfort, considering that the sound was due to Rody's shock, but Kirishima didn't know that. He had picked up on how Ei noticed Pino's reaction, and from his perspective he must've thought she was startled by something else.
Rody wouldn't look like a good 'pet owner' if he just ignored the bird's 'panic.' Thus, she got some nice scratches.
"Really? Geez, small world! I didn't think I would run into one of Deku's friends like this." In retrospect, Pino really did have no reason to be scared of this kind-hearted hero. "Likewise. It's even more of a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Again, thank you." Doesn't everyone love being insulted like this? From the spot in Rody's ponytail, Pino was starting to rustle around. Rody knew he didn't have an incredibly impressive quirk, but maybe, just maybe, Bakugou was getting on his nerves. A little.
"Wow, good job, Hero, I guess you are smarter than you look."
That got him. Oh, the irony.
“Ha! Oh, man! Your vocal chords really betrayed you there!” He gave Deku a firm pat on the back as he caught his breath. “Ah, it happens to the best of us. Just think of it as part of your charm.”

“Maybe because you are one-” Rody mumbled real quietly, holding back a laugh. All tease, of course.
“Wha-?! Rody!” Izuku gasped, fake-offended. Unfortunately, his voice cracked over Rody’s name.
Pino rubbed at her face with her wings, as if Rody was trying to shake his own panic away. He couldn’t help but squint at the small motion she did. Thankfully, it wasn’t easily readable... This time around anyway.
“Hm?” Rody glanced over at Deku, his worries about Pino expressing his emotions being brushed to the side. “You think so?” He brought the outfit away from the pink bird to check the price tag. “Hm... Not too bad. I guess she does deserve something.” He grinned as he gave the bird a pat and rub to the head.
Once that was done, Pino hopped onto Rody's shoulder, his focus back on his friend. "I can go pay for this and then we can head to the next place, that sound good?"
It took everything in Izuku not to start bouncing up and down where he was standing. He was waiting outside of Gate 15 for an incoming flight from Otheon. Finally, after seven long months of waiting, today was the day!
Rody was visiting him in Japan!
They had been planning this for months. Instead of spending his extra money on All Might merchandise, he focused all of it towards Rody’s travel expenses and anything they’d end up doing while together for the week. They had practically talked every other day ever since Rody had saved up money to buy a cell phone. They had learned a lot about each other in that time, and despite the long distance between them, Izuku still felt as if they were becoming closer than ever.
So, really... it wasn’t much of a surprise that this was the most excited he’d felt in a very long time.
As soon as he spotted Rody’s face, his eyes lit up as bright as the sun. He couldn’t help but rush forward and pull the other young man into a fierce hug. He could feel himself tearing up, but he managed to keep the tears at bay. He couldn’t keep the grin off of his face even if he tried to.
“I can’t believe you’re actually here right now!” he exclaimed with a cheerful laugh. “It’s so great to see you again, Rody!”
