thats it ! first few pages, i hope you all enjoy them ! been working on these since uh. mid march ., i redid the first page like 3 times i could talk so much about how i love these losers and how happy i am to finally get this first update out but i will spare ye of that I cannot thank u guys enough for the support and excitement ive gotten for ashes !! it means alot truly !!!

As a note, a couple things in the references haven’t happened yet as of the current fic.

1. Raph hasn’t got his tattoo (Casey dared him to and then gave it himself, it’s not a serious tattoo and he wears a patch to cover it), because they haven’t yet met Casey (he’s soon though don’t worry!!)

2. Leo does not yet have his knee scar! He gets that a little ways down the storyline :)

Hii I started reading your AU and I have a bit of questions for starters what is their species? Are they the same age? If so how old are they? Which universe is this mostly based on? I am assuming the whole Donnie leo being twins is from Rise?

Hello!! I’m very happy that you’re reading my au, I have actually got the answers to their ages and species on their intro posts but I’ll say it here because they’re kind of old and a long way to scroll!

Leo is 16 and a red eared slider

Donnie is also 16 and a hawksbill sea turtle

Raph is 15 and a common snapping turtle

Mikey is 14 and an Eastern long-necked turtle

I take inspo for all iterations cause I’ve seen most of them, but the 2012 show gave the most inspo for plot and character dynamics, 2003 for storylines, and rise for character design, IDW for late-story plot points!

Yes I headcanon Donnie and Leo as twins in rise as well! I took that because I love eldest sibling Leo and wanted to explore an older sibling Donnie as well! And also love the teasing twins dynamic :))
