the childrens garden summary: casey and april are childhood friends, who meet four wildly different bugs in their backyard, deciding to them them leonardo, rapheal, michelangelo, and donatello (as they are watching tmnt 2012 together) and they all go on adventures, helping each other and defending them from the footclan, the wasps

tmnt reticent summary: leo, raph, mikey, donnie and their best friend april meet a vigilante named casey jones and aid him in his fight against the foot clan, mostly to keep casey quiet about their existence. however, they start to learn more about their clan and each other as they delve deeper into new york’s criminal underground.

So i had an idea. what if Casey Jr travelled the world, but didn't stop there.

After traveling earth, sending the team pictures and drawing off all his cool adventures. He decided that he would travel to other planets as well. But how would Casey travel to different planets. Teleporting space ship. With the help of Leo's portal swords, he managed to make a space ship thing that could teleport to other worlds for Casey to explore, the others would come as well, but don't like traveling as much as he does so they have only joined in a few times. This space ship is also this sort of caravan like thing, with a bed, kitchen (if he cant get a fire to cook meals on) and bathroom.

😡What is your villain’s motivation?

There are multiple villains but for now I’ll talk about the shredder and purple dragons who are the current main big bads. They are both puppet gangs as a secret force is manipulating gangs towards NYC. The Shredder is currently fuelled by bloodlust and revenge. He is not in his right mind and barely in control of most of his actions, seeking out revenge on the remaining Hamato clan and trying to avenge his daughter who he believes to be dead (Karai). The purple dragons want to rule NYC. Hun specifically wants all the power and wealth that comes along with that.

🐯Is there a Tigerclaw in your au?

There is a Tigerclaw! He is a minor character. He is a younger brother to Alopex who fought in the Battle Nexus to save his life.

🧶 Does Raph knit?

Raph does knit! He used it at first as a way to cope with his anger but it’s just become a hobby of his now, unconsciously. He’ll just go to his room if he needs to chill out and knit for hours until his project is finished. He also uses the items he knits for apologies. He has a hard time apologising so he will make something for them instead.

Lost Ties TMNT Concept Sketches

Have finally read Last Ronin, it killed me, but it's the first actual tmnt comic l've read, very good.

Then I thought about how (as far as I'm aware) the official comics have yet to have an actual seperated storyline, so I took up the challenge to try and make a seperated tmnt AU similar in style to the darker IDW and Last Ronin comics cuz l've been experimenting with tons of styles lately

Very bare bones right now, but these sketches show the different groups the story focuses on: Jennika and Raph, cuz I have yet to tackle a sister character for the turtles in any of my stories.

Tang Shen, Karai, and Mikey cuz Tang Shen deserved better and I like the idea of the turtles having some kind of mother figure.

Donnie, Casey, and April. Think they've only met a bit recently as Donnie was more of a scavenger before stumbling upon April's shop or something.

Finally Leo and Shredder cuz we needed some edgy pairing, so here's the classic. I wanted to avoid this cuz it was so obvious, but it's classic and someone needs to end up with a villain, so here we go.

Splinter is still part of the plot, just kind of MIA. Hope you enjoy and I'll get more of this AU out soon (not abandoning any of my others, my brain just won't stop pumping out ideas).

This is my basic design on what Casey would normally wear during his adventures. T-shirt, Backpack, more bag, his helmet which is attached to his mask (though the mask can come off), those pants with all the pockets, gloves (if he knew he was going to need them) and hiking boots.

also he after trips he does stay with his family for the next few months before going on another trip, but if his family needs him, he will ALWAYS, stop whatever he is doing and go home in the quickest way possible ,even if it means he has to cancel all his plans, family is his number 1 priority.

Semifinals

The Big Bads of my TMNT au, there are more villains besides these guys though.

From left to right, top to bottom we got:

The Shredder

- Head of the foot clan

- Over 150 years old

- Angriest and most vengeful man ever

- Has weird episodes where he becomes monstrous, becoming larger and tougher to beat. They are triggered by Karai and seeing any of the living Hamato clan, however, sometimes they are random.

- Wants his daughter to be under control and is succeeding

The Foot

- The main members of Shredder’s elite foot soldiers are Usagi, Koya, Fishface, Alopex, Bebop, Rocksteady, and eventually Karai

- The foot soldiers in Japan do not know about mutants. They believe they are yokai and treat them as such.

- Usagi just wants to get back to his world and is using the foot to try and do so.

- Koya is the Shredder‘s personal messenger, she was accidentally mutated when she passed over a battle on a delivery. She is very loyal to the Shredder. I can’t draw birds.

- Fishface is just a little guy, probably involved in some crime before the shredder, idk yet but he’s got a place ;)

- Alopex was one of the first mutants to join Shredder‘s crew. She was purposefully mutated by the kraang for Big Mama but left the battle nexus as it threatened the life of her brother, Tigerclaw, who is not apart of the foot.

- Bebop and Rocksteady were part time security workers at concerts and full time dumbasses before their mutation. They are now lackies.

- Karai goes into a little more spoiler territory, BUT, she is the Shredder‘s daughter.

Big Mama

- has a deal with everyone

- Runs an illegal gambling and fighting ring called the Battle Nexus.

- A little power crazy, just a smidge

- Presents herself as delicate so that people underestimate her.

- Human (for now)

The Purple dragons

- A gang with control over parts of Queens. They have three main subsections:

- The schools, dealing with high schooler lackeys

- The tech, dealing with technological crimes and wealth gain

- And Representatives, the higher ups that runs the whole operation.

- In the drawing are the three leaders for each subsection; Jason on the right, Kendra on the left, and Hun in the middle. Hun gets a glow up at one point don’t worry

The Kraang

- A race of aliens that travel throughout the universe to conquer everything in it.

- Possession abilities

- Have cloaking broaches and exosuits

- View Earth-beings as not advanced but still need to use some of them to establish their rule
