Very true and this brings us to the cover of Bakugou reaching for kidzuku's hand.

That means, that in a very special way, Izuku IS saving Katsuki. He's this goal that Katsuki wants to reach, this person Katsuki wants to save and be saved by (to remember/return to the river moment all those years ago perhaps).

At least, that's what I think.

Thinking about the plot parallels in bnha again, this time as they relate to Izuku's goals--because he's had a specific goal for a long time, and it's not just being the number one hero. Saving is Izuku's half of heroism, after all, and yet from his perspective, it could be said that he fails in one continual regard: saving Katsuki.

It seems to start with the sludge villain. He doesn't exactly fail; he has a positive effect on the situation, at least physically, and Katsuki survives unscathed and more or less emotionally intact. From a literal standpoint, Katsuki has been saved, but Izuku isn't directly the one to save him (and is indirectly the one who put him in danger).

Then training camp happens, and Katsuki is a victim again. And Izuku is frozen there in the forest, unable to keep reaching for him. (And when he plots the rescue, he can't be the one to enact it.) Katsuki is rescued in the end, but Izuku doesn't save him before damage is done--because this time, Katsuki is physically okay, but the psychological effects make themselves known at Ground Beta.

Then there's the next time. Katsuki takes the hit for Izuku, and this time, although he survives, he sustains physical harm. It isn't as though Izuku can prevent this, but Katsuki's only there because Izuku told him about OFA, and is only putting his life in danger because of Izuku. From Izuku's perspective, he hasn't protected Katsuki.

And then there's the final battle, a bigger, more catastrophic reflection of what happened before. Except this time, Katsuki doesn't survive. And once again, Izuku hasn't saved him.

Izuku wins to save; saving is what motivates him. And although he's been victorious time and time again, he has never decisively saved Katsuki from a true threat. This is a pattern his entire life.

His entire life, because it didn't start with the sludge villain.

It started with the river. Katsuki didn't take his hand, and Izuku wasn't able to help him. It's the start of Katsuki's internal conflict with weakness and victimhood, and the start of Izuku trying to be there for him.

Katsuki has to contend with needing to be saved. Izuku has to contend with failing to save him.

I love Fuyumi but how could she just ignore Endeavor's abuse of Shouto? Like seriously???

so. update on this post:

for context, i go to a catholic high school (im a hindu tho)

so we were sitting in church, and i saw the shorter kid from this post sitting in a pew. then we got up to do the "peace be with you" thing (which is just shaking the hands of the people around you and saying "peace be with you")

so i look over, and i see the shorter kid shaking hands with some other guy. and do you know what this kid does? YANKS ON THE OTHER GUY'S HAND SO THEY ALMOST KISSSED. IN CHURCH. like last time, they pulled back at the last second, but srsly? IN CHURCH? in a CATHOLIC CHURCH?

The south-eastern region of Turkey was hit with a devastating earthquake of 7.7 magnitude on February 6 at 4 AM, when most people were asleep. The earthquake occurred along the Northern Anatolian Fault and caused significant damages to 10 cities in Turkey's south-eastern region, with over 1,000 collapsed buildings. It also caused significant damages in Syria since it occurred near the Turkish-Syrian border on the Northern Anatolian Fault and was felt across many countries including Lebanon, Israel, Greece, Iraq, Armenia and so on.

As of right now (13:15 PM) the official numbers show that there are over 1,000 buildings collapsed, 5,000 injured and more than 900 casualties. Unfortunately we know that these numbers will not stay the same, since most of the search and rescue operations are still underway, yet there are still many places search and rescue operators weren't able to reach due to damage caused in communication and highways. Extreme cold, snow and the fact that collapsed buildings are spread across a large region indicate that search and rescue operations will be going on for a long period of time.

Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has declared Stage 4 Emergency nationwide, calling for international aid in search and rescue operations as well as humanitarian aid. There also have been contacts with the EU Emergency Response Cooperation Centre, the White House and many other governments for further help.

As of right now there are nation-wide calls for blood donations, and even though the main focus is on the search and rescue operations, calls for donations of food, blankets, baby formulas, diapers, pads and tampons and protective gear have already started to appear. If your government is planning on sending aid to Turkey, reach out and ask if there is anything you can donate as long as they are clean and in one piece. Remember that it is mid-winter in Turkey and it is currently snowing in most of the affected cities, people have gone out in fear in slippers and pajamas so everything that can be donated counts.

If you are able to contribute to monetary aid, please check if where you are planning to donate is an accredited organization whether it is national, regional or international. If you are able to do so, even 5 dollars is worth more than you can imagine (you can check the exchange rates by simply typing them to the Google search bar). As of right now there are a few organizations accepting monetary aid, such as the Turkish non-profit Ahbap (their twitter), but if anyone is interested I will update this post for more links for donations.

If you are in no position to do any of those things, please, please share this post with others however you can. Twitter is flooded with information spread about those under rubble and collapsed buildings and places where rescue hasn't reached yet. People are panicked and the roads are blocked, and because of weather conditions no civilian flights are allowed to and from the affected areas. There have been over 60 aftershocks, the highest being M 6.6, and some of them caused more damaged buildings to collapse.

Please also remember that Syria is in a similar position, and because of the civil war the humanitarian aid is stretched out even thinner. It is crucial to be able to gather as much international aid as possible, especially in the first 48-72 hours.

The effects of an earthquake of this magnitude in a single city would be devastating on its on, yet right now Turkey is dealing with 10 significantly damaged disaster zones. Please believe me when I say that any way you can help we will be grateful for.

Made a horrible poem (because it isn't a poem more of a thing i wrote) about love. Here it is:

Last night I had a crazy @$$ dream.

So it's raining outside, my dad decides to go fishing in the rain in the parking lot like a crazy person. He does this jokingly but brings his actual fishing stuff.

My mom, who is not my actual mom but is now Kirsten Dunst (as a redhead), comes out of the car and let's us kids play in the rain.

Then my dad's friend (a famous guy I can't remember now) also shows up and just starts talking to him.

Suddenly Thor and Lady Thor fly in and begin talking with my dad as well.

But none of that matters because freaking BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY SHOWS UP! He drifts in, parks perfectly, and is dressed like he was just at a fancy event. The man asks my father," What are you doing out here in the rain?"

"Fishing."

"Oh. Cool." And proceeds to CATCH A FISH. IN THE RAIN. (Then stomp on it to kill it but that doesn't matter because plot holes, fish is alive again). Mind you this is a parking lot there's no actual source of water just a bit of flood. This man appears andsuddenly a fish does and he just "hm, catchin fish in the rain" like it's nothing! We were gobsmacked, appalled, absolutely flabbergasted by this man (who we didn't even know in the dream.)

So now suddenly we have a group of five adults and five children and the adults decide "Hey wanna go danger driving?" "Yeah sure."

Apparently the music dictates the danger survivability. So no one dies until the second part of the dream.

The second part of the dream begins where the first left off. Danger driving (which I can only describe as driving in a partially destroyed car against other partially destroyed cars but where they have a slope so they crash into you and you try to dodge them). They all survive, of course, and decide to go to a park for the kids (which there are now like fourteen of).

One guy (the guy whose face I can't remember though it could've been Samuel L. Jackson) stays behind to take a smoke while the rest of us enter the sloped tunnel entrance.

Then, a glimpse. A mechanical head with ugly scars and crazy white hair sits in front of a computer watching us. Or more specifically, Bill Nye the Science Guy. The culprit turns around reveals himself to be...ALBERT EINSTEIN! (Whom looks more like the robot president from Inside Job).

The man was but a mere face mask for Bill Nye the science guy to wear when he had a horrible accident and had to go vegan because he couldn't eat meat anymore. Then when he recovered he built him a robotic head as an A.I. for Bill Nye the Science Guy. But he no longer wants to be that, a mere robotic head. He wants more!

So what does he do? He decides to build himself a robotic body and kill his creator and his friends. He merges with the body and picks up an axe (that looks a lot like stormbreaker) and goes hunting.

The first to die is the man who was left out smoking, head axed clean off!

Then we head back to my POV. Where I am holding my baby sister while climbing down the slippery slope. Luckily there are pools on the side for me to use as leverage and balance while my dad RUSHES ME AS IF I'M PURPOSELY GOING AT THE RATE OF A SNAIL.

I eventually get to the park. My cousins and sisters already there, the adults watching (not really) while talking amongst themselves.

When Bill Nye the Science Guy decides to go out for a bit. He lights a cigar (which he would never do in my heart) and never smokes it. Man just holds it in his fingers and observes the world.

Then his head is hacked off. Clean, one strike like the other. Albert Einstein (yes we're still calling him that) readily picks up Bill Nye the Science Guy's head and shoves it in a jar. He proceeds on with an intent to kill everyone.

POv back to me, we're all having fun till my uncle (actual uncle)'s head do flying off. Thor and Lady Thor try to fight him while everyone else runs away. The kids hide in the rooftops and the adults scatter.

Albert Einstein fights them off and hides only to find us and proceeds to try to kill us only for him to find I HAVE SUPERPOWERS! Specifically electricity.

So I fight the dude off and try to negotiate him because I gotta protect my cousin's and sisters. That succeeds because he realizes he can't defeat me since he's a robot and so I go to tattletale on the adults but that plan completely fails because "mom needs to be alive to watch after us" and the thors kinda ran away as in Thor got badly injured so now they have to go.

Anyway Albert Einstein doesn't like that so he tries to kill the kids again and I stop him but now there's no negotiating so I tell em "hey, you guys gotta go." And I hold him off there.

That's it, that's the dream. I dunno if I succeed if the adults are all gone, if the kids survive, or if I hold him there forever. Quite a dream wasn't it?

Luckily I went back to sleep (cause it was eight A.M.) and had another dream that was pretty cool and weird but not as weird as this one.

Did I ever tell you guys of the time I forgot Christianity was called that so I called it the "Jesus Fandom" yeah that happened I don't speak of it but it sits in my mind some days

I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to say much of this Fandom since I'm not a big fan of it (not that I'm not not a fan) but here I go.

Headcanon theory thing: If Harry were to have an animagus, I would think it to be a mouse.

Why? Why on Earth of all things a mouse?

There are a few reasons why:

They're small. They can hide in small spaces and remain unseen. Harry's used to being crammed in small spaces and though he doesn't have to go through that anymore it does help him escape the large group of reporters that try to follow him.

He learns to love what he hated. He hated it, despised using his animagus at first. Hermione and Ron did try to convince him (half-heartedly) to try to understand it but he just wouldn't. Until he found himself using it when it was just too crowded for the invisible cloak. So it was a little more acceptable to use it but only in emergencies. But I like to think over time he learns more about his animagus and loves it because even though it reminds him of the traitor who killed his family (though he was a rat not a mouse), it also gives him more freedom.

Mione and Ron. If they had an animagus it would be an African Grey (yes I was very specific about this) and a weasel (I know I know, rather mean of me). Like the Marauders, they would sometimes go out and adventure around in nature in their animagus forms. (Sometimes even flying with Hermione if she could handle it)

Not much of a headcanon/theory is it? But i think I did what I could.

Me: Wow. Harry Potter has truly gone through a lot. His peers but mainly him has been failed time and time again by wizarding world and it’s enforcers. He was a child forced to face the most evil dark wizard in existence because no one believed him and the protectors of the wizarding world didn’t help him. And I love the fact that the times we really got to see him shine were when he was teaching his peers and helping them to become better wizards. The joy he felt when he taught his peers the patronus charm was beautiful. It’s obvious that he’s going to become a professor when he graduates because he loved teaching and anything else really wouldn’t be his style or go with what’s been built up since book 1!
