Atsumu had always been the one to make the first move, may it be through messages or asking Kyoomi out for dates. Kiyoomi got so accustomed to it that he panics when Atsumu doesn't message him for an entire day. He goes back to their messages and rereads them.

Everything's fine. Atsumu used emojis, sent him some memes and even some selfies. So, he evaluates his responses to make sure he didn't sound uninterested or check if he could've said something that might've offended Atsumu or put him in a bad mood. But in the end, he found nothing out of the usual.

"Stop overthinking it. He tells you things he doesn't like, so there's no need to panic," Kiyoomi whispers to himself, but he still finds himself pressing the call button.

Kiyoomi hears the ringing, and his heart immediately starts beating erratically.

What if he's busy? What if he finds it annoying? What if everything's fine and I look like I'm too clingy? What if he gets mad?

All these questions keep running in Kiyoomi's head, making it difficult to make the first move. He sighs as his thoughts get the better of him, but before he could even turn off the call, Atsumu's voice pulls him out of his head.

"Hey, Omi-kun! What's up?" Atsumu asks on the other side. Kiyoomi gulps and straightens his back as he tries to keep his composure.

"Nothing," Kiyoomi answers, there's silence on the other side of the line, and this makes Kiyoomi panic once again.

"Oh, then why'd you call?" Atsumu asks. His tone's normal, and yet Kiyoomi still feels like something's off.

"I just missed you," Kiyoomi whispers, it was so small that Atsumu almost didn't catch it, "I'm sorry for bothering you so late at night,"

"What? No, don't apologize! I like it, actually," Atsumu says, "it makes my heart really soft hearing you say you miss me,"

Kiyoomi can imagine Atsumu smiling on the other end of the line, and this made him feel silly for panicking over Atsumu not messaging him.

"So, what now?" Kiyoomi asks as he lays on his bed with a calmer heart and a smile on his face.

"I don't know, tell me about your day. I just slept the entire day, so I don't have much," Atsumu answers.

Kiyoomi smiles, "okay,"

Kiyoomi then proceeds to tell Atsumu about his day, and they ended up talking until past nine. Once Atsumu notices, he says, "Omi, we have to go to sleep. We still have Saturday training,"

"Oh," Kiyoomi says and turns to the clock, "I guess this is good night then,"

"Yeah," Atsumu says, "but before you hang up,"

"What is it?"

"I just wanted you to know that it made me really happy that you called," Atsumu says, making Kiyoomi grin wide, "Then I'll call you more often,"

Kiyoomi doesn't hear a response, but he does hear a muffled scream which makes him chuckle, "Okay, I'll call you tomorrow morning,"

"Okay, Omi-kun, good night. I love you," Atsumu says, making Kiyoomi's heart run wild.

"Good night, I love you too, Atsumu," Kiyoomi says and hangs up before turning on his side and sleeping with a smile on his face now that he knows that making the first move won't annoy Atsumu.

You ever think about the fact that Annie never saw any value in life and never took any interest in anything, only her fighting which kept her grounded and then BAM along came Eren who took interest in her fighting style and saw the value not only in it, but also in Annie herself (and her life)?

One of the biggest things to come out of chapter 125 is how we finally got to see Annie’s pov and how she perceived herself, as well as the world around her.

She couldn’t grasp the concept of human lives and just lived her life doing what she was told, and didn’t care one bit who lived or who died. The only thing that brought her any semblance of affection was through her father and her training And through her father did she grasp a concept of what love actually was, and how much she cared to keep that love alive.

What;s really important is how this puts Eren and Annie’s meeting into a whole different context. When we first see her she obviously looks to have no interest in anything else other than completing her mission.

But that changed when she saw Eren use one of her martial art moves on Jean, and how she offered to train him during their cadet day. 

This is kind of a big deal because Eren reminded Annie of the warmth that she had when she was spending time with her father.  The only source of affection came from someone who she considered to be the only one who would ever care for her, and the only one she could rely on in their cruel, unforgiving world. Then here comes this boy who not only praises her combat skills, but reminds her of how much she actually did enjoy fighting and learning martial arts from her father.

I also need to point out that Eren was the only person who could see past Annies cold exterior and realize that she wasn’t being honest with herself when she said she hated learning how to fight. He saw how alive she was whenever she got to show off her hand to hand combat skills.

To me this only reinforces how strong both Eren and Annies bond was, and how much thy meant to each other especially their time training together.

they talk of the tiyanak, and how they attract travelers by imitating a baby cry and then attack the victim. you walk home late one night from school, you hear the baby crying, not so distant. you stop for a second, the hairs on your arms rising, a shiver running down your spine. you resume walking. you don’t turn back.

you remember the tikbalang one time you got lost with your friends. you drive and drive but you keep returning to that tree with the branches that look like arms and it feels eerie. you had your stereo on full volume and you turn it down. you tell your friends to keep quiet and to turn their shirts inside out. you keep driving and this time you get out. but it’s been five hours when it felt like five minutes.

you think of the manananggal when your mom gets pregnant. you think of it flying to your house and using its long proboscis-like tongue to suck out the heart and blood of your would-be sibling. you think of its severed torso, the upper doing the job while the lower just stands there. you sit up every night waiting for it. you don’t get much sleep, too scared to sleep in case it comes.

you wait for your friend one time. you hear, ek ek ek. it seemed very far so you don’t pay much attention to it. you tell your friend this and they say it was probably an ekek, similar to the manananggal. your friend also says that they fool people into thinking they were far when they were actually very close.

your mom tells you that your maid’s mother is an aswang, a vampire-like witch ghoul. your maid is probably one too. you remember what happened to your neighbor, how he didn’t seem like himself and then he became sick and died. you hear people saying it was your maid and that it was the way of the aswangs to replace their victims with doppelgangers only to become sick and die. you’ve been very nice to you maid ever since. you don’t know who’s real, you don’t know who’s a doppelganger.

these are some of the creatures you’ve been afraid of your whole life. they tell you to let go of it. they tell you it’s not real. but you can’t, you can’t, you can’t.

Bathala, also known as Abba, is said to be the creator of everything. He dwells in the sky which is called Kawalhatian together with the lesser gods and goddesses. He is kind, giving the people everything they need to the point of spoiling them. This was where the Filipino saying “Bahala na” (come what may) came from. It is also known that Bathala sends anito (ancestor spirits, nature spirits, and deities) to help mankind with their daily activities.

- When they were learning to use maneuver gear, Armin would often fall because his body was weaker than the others. Eren would always keep a close eye on him and then catch him when he falls.

- When they were younger and Armin got scared, he would grab onto Eren’s sleeve and once Eren caught on, he would immediately eliminate the threat

- They casually touch all the time and Eren always makes sure to sit or stand next to Armin. They’ll even hold hands sometimes while learning about a new mission

- When Eren was getting put through experiments, he always preferred if Armin was present

- During the winters when they were younger they would have sleepovers and cuddle together. They never really grew out of it so when winter rolled around when they were trainee’s and scouts, Armin would crawl into Eren’s bed. They wouldn’t cuddle, but they would sleep in the same bed together.

- Eren always makes a fuss if he isn’t on the same chore rotation with Armin

- Before missions, Eren would always find Armin and just talk about random things because he knows Armin is nervous and he wanted to make him feel better

- When Eren passes out after experiments, Armin sits by his side and refuses to leave until he wakes up

- Making eye contact with each other or just being in one another’s presence is always enough to calm them down

- When Eren gets angry and starts lashing out, Armin is always the one to calm him down and follow him out of the room to help him feel better. They usually end up gossiping about other soldiers and talking about the outside world

- They always casually disappear together when the group meets up. Like the group can be meeting up for anything and the two of them will eventually leave together without anyone noticing for a while

- Armin always smiles really brightly when he sees Eren

- During the summers, they’ll take their horses and ride up a nearby mountain to watch the sunrise or just go up there before breakfast

- They get each other’s food for one another. Whenever they arrive in the mess hall together, only one will get up and get the food for both of them. They switch everyday

- Armin is able to distinguish how Eren is feeling inside his Titan form through his roars. He can tell if he’s feeling frustrated/angry, sad, or cheerful, etc. No one really understands, but they trust Armin’s judgement

- They make pinkie promises

- Armin has a lot of nightmares of the time Eren died in front of him and since Eren knows this, he’s always able to tell when Armin is thrashing around in bed and he’ll hold his hand until he wakes up

- Eren never listened in school when they were younger so Armin was the one to teach him to read and write outside of school

- Eren’s heart breaks whenever he sees Armin scared to tears and he’ll do ANYTHING to make the tears stop

- The one time Armin got so mad he screamed and yelled was at Hange because he thought/knew she went too far on an experiment. He was very angry for days and didn’t talk to anyone except for Eren and Mikasa (Eren thought the pout he always had on his face was adorable)
