WIP# 1 POPPYPLAYTOWN.

I decided to get serious with the bios and randomly DD appeared first for its design :D

MORE ABOUT LIBBY AND #1202.

(this Sketch are the first concept about Libby and Dogday + a little Bit of lore of them).

MORE ABOUT LIBBY:

As mentioned above, she was an orphan who ended up in the playtime CO adoption program to be adopted by one of the employees at playcare, and was selected as to be one of the smiling critters, specifically; Dogday. (I don't think that the gender of the children is a great influence in deciding which children will be experiments for the bigger bodies initiative.)

She lost her parents because of a "strange religion" so the topic is something delicate for her.

Originally due to all the reasons, the team of scientists wanted to place it in "experimentation" as soon as possible (#1189-#1201); However, it started to be a problem when a certain Playtime manager had taken a liking to her and had her under some protection.

She was known for being a quite sociable and charismatic child among other orphans, however with adults she was a completely different thing being withdrawn and quiet.

She used to be constantly hurt and wearing Band-Aids (playTime co. trademark) due to her own childhood hyperactivity and was often an easy target for older children caused by the panic of not being adopted. (Libby in general did not usually betray them or return evil because she did not see the point of revenge).

Extra note: he reason for her appearance in the story (specifically her haircut and several of his clothes) is based on several protagonists of Ghibli films.

She favorite food was the po' boys sandwiches and chicken and waffles (which causes a misunderstanding when, already converted into dogday, he said "man, how much I would kill to eat a po' boy" and catnap left him the body of a deceased child).

Her favorites Playtime Co. toys are the smiling critters, Candy cat and PJ pug-a-pillar (although Libby was only able to buy 2 smiling critters at the toy store during his entire stay at playcare)

She hates the playtime Co. Doctor's, according to her because they were very rude and scary.

Libby "died" at the age of 9 due to an attack by the prototype.

About Dogday/#1202:

It should be noted that Libby's clear annoyance and confusion at being turned into dogday made it difficult for the playtime co. scientists deal with him.

The biggest problem in being turned into dogday in a curious way was not the fact that it was referred to as masculine; Instead, they put Dr. Sawyer's voice on the voice box.

extra note: dogday has no problem being referred to as a boy (he/him), however it was VERY confusing for him at first and many times he did not respond or had a hard time saying that; so he started referring to himself in the third person "dogday says..." or "dogday thinks...". He keeps his true identity a secret so that there is no confusion about what to call him (although he will be happy when he is treated femininely)

Returning to the topic of the voice box, this was a strategy of scientists who were aware of the fear and rejection that Dr. Harley Sawyer and that unlike Elliot Ludwing, he did not have a very charismatic personality or very kind to them in general. So, adding the fact that they had to turn Libby into an experiment, they thought that if Dogday had the same voice and interacted with the little ones in a friendly way, they could trick the children into confusing the smiling critter's voice with that of the scientist. (Dogday refused to collaborate; being the one who fears and rejects the doctor the most, so he learned to imitate the cartoon's voice as best as possible).

That made him create a sworn enmity with the scientists; constantly punishing him when the children did not see him, denying him food and when they gave him food it was portions of poor quality raw meat (which made Dogday prefer to endure hunger than eat it).

Not counting that enmity with the scientists, due to his duties in the counselor's office as an assistant and "therapy dog" for the children who came, he had a broader perspective that there were "angel employees" and "evil employees." even witnessing when one was upset about the whereabouts of one of the children he was going to adopt and hearing their complains about not being able to get out of there.

About... PLAYER?!:

(hell yeah... This story is more complicated...)

Remember when I mentioned that the reason Libby hadn't been experimented on before was because a high-up Playtime official had taken a liking to her? well, whoever she was the player is the person.

At first both were irrelevant to each other's lives (the player because he was just another worker, and Libby because of her shyness with adults); However, after an absurd incident with Barry's toy, it was enough for them to meet.

Once Libby had come into confidence with Player, she can't pronounce his name correctly, so she affectionately call to him as "Mr. Angel" and ran to hug him, give him drawings and crafts made in class whenever she could.

The scientists thought that perhaps it was a ruse to get the girl to believe in him, in any case they knew that he had already done more terrible things for the company... but they were shocked to know that he was taking the issue of Libby seriously as a legitimate adoption. even giving her gifts along the way (including the famous "tragedy dress").

Once Player entered the complex adoption process to be able to take Libby from Playcare, he learned the worst side of the scientists and managers of Playtime Co.; He spent two whole years fighting for it until he was able to find a legal loophole where either the girl would be handed over to him or he would publicly declare everything the company has done without caring that it would sink him in the process.

...unfortunately the day he was going to take her, she disappeared and only a bloody piece of the sunflower dress she was wearing that day appeared; and scientists left her for dead in an accident in the restricted area.

After Libby's disappearance and "dead", Player was never able to return to playcare so he demanded to be changed sections shortly before Dogday went into operation. They were never able to cross paths again.

a massacre and 10 years later; They cross paths again. Dogday cannot recognize his "Mr. Angel" and only called him that because it was the first time in a long time that he heard friendly footsteps; However, the mere fact that he referred to "Angel" and that player assumed that all the bigger bodies were children, it didn't take him long to realize that that poor ragged dog would be his sweet little Libby.

The shock of that possibility was so great that the mere idea made him remain paralyzed while the bigger dog said his monologue before he warned him to run away from there.

Extra note: in the timeline where he did react in time and saved Dogday from that cruel fate, he couldn't help but burst into tears and hug him, begging for forgiveness. while dogday would be confused.

About Theodore Grambel/Catnap/#1188:

(Let's not lie to each other, everyone even me came for this-)

Ohh boy... How I can start this?...

Their relationship was one-sized from minute 0.

Libby wanted to be friends with Theo however she wanted, because she considered him to be a very shy and quiet boy; Theodore, she tried to talk about him all the time with different topics until she could find a common topic.

Theodore for his way... he only considered her annoying and a waste of time to spend with his true friend, 1006.

Which got worse when Libby realized that, like her, he was a fan of the smilling critters show and that it bothered him that Catnap had disappeared from the shelves (she was even able to give him his catnap stuffed animal to keep him happy; which he still thinks is a nuisance but he appreciates the stuffed animal)

When Theodore disappeared, Libby got really sad; while Theo couldn't care less that it was Libby's... that is, until her resistance to her poppy gas became present and Catnap had to be more aware of her. (in the end it could be useful to his angel)

dogday also strived to be friendly with catnap and that it will integrate with the others.

That unilateral dynamic is cut when the theme of the "hour of joy" becomes present.

dogday understands everyone's motives in wanting to participate; but it starts to be a problem for catnap when your "and there's no other way?" along with their “and then what?” They made other toys start to doubt the prototype... that annoyance towards Dogday turned into legitimate hatred.

Extra note: In an alternative line where Theo likes Libby things would be slightly different, he would be rude because he doesn't know how to be sweet with her and he would even ask 1006 for advice on how to be romantic (of course it would end in failure).

Despite everything, for Dogday things would only end up being him alone, being the last smiling critter standing, completely a prisoner and feeling stupid for having wanted to be friends with that thing called catnap.

A DOGDAY HEADCANON=

While it is debated whether Dogday is a child or a former employee of PT CO.; I had the crazy idea of making Dogday's person a ghibli-type girl (but with a disastrous end).

Dogday was experiment #1202. Before she to be Dogday, he was a girl named Lilibeth Faith.

Lilibeth (can yo call her Libby) was just a little girl with bad luck, who fell into even worse luck who just wanted a home or at least spend every day well in playcare.

Libby and Catnap.

For Libby, catnap was a kind of Totoro for Satsuki and Mei. A giant creature that she saw in a friendly way. For Catnap, Libby was a nuisance. But he had to keep an eye on her due to the anomaly of initially being immune to red gas.

Of course, after becoming dogday and realizing that he was only studying her, he has some anger on him.(Dogday has done).

The dress of the tragedy.

The scientists at Playtime CO. Due to the initial abnormality of her resistance to poppy gas, she was seen as an undeniable candidate to be an experiment for the bigger bodies initiative. However, they had a problem: a certain high-ranking Playtime CO official. He had become attached to the girl, and had protected her from her to even legitimately adopt her. However; The prototype, out of curiosity, intervened in favor of the scientists; him tricking her by pretending to be Theodore and making her follow his voice until he was able to wound her almost mortally to hand her over to the scientists.

Because of Libby's critical condition, they had to turn her into an experiment in a hurry.The torn dress with dried blood is the only proof of her past that Dogday has left.

Yeahh... about that Smiling Critter AU...

(i'm the only one who organizes them by color? Yeah? Ok).

This Alternative universe it's very simple=

Imagine toys from playtime CO. in a universe where they are characters in a world of a construction similar to the Ghibli films (and since the idea began with the SC, I will publish them first, more or less explaining their roles later).

Do not confuse; They may not be the monsters of the game universe, but they are still PRETTY big=

Masked Deuce is in love with Ace.

I will take no criticism.

Is Ace and Yamato adorable yes.

But my man Deuce is Ace’s first mate. Ace turned his life around.

He set out to sea to follow his own dreams. And got lost along the way.

He meets Ace and originally dislikes him but they eventually get along and get off the island they’re trapped on

Ace calls Deuce his treasure

Ace literally gives Masked Deuce his name as Deuce has regected his family and birth name.

He becomes a pirate for Ace. Like man set out to be a writer and is now a pirate

All I’m saying is there is a lot of parallels between Ace/Deuce and early Zolu. And I’m sick for captains and first mates.

And I need more people to get on this with me because in a world where the Spade Pirates went with Ace to find Blackbeard.

Deuce gets to meet the Strawhats in Alabasta with Ace. And I just know there’s a moment where Ace and Luffy are being well Ace and Luffy. And off to the side Zoro and Deuce are just watching there idiots together.

And it’s a silent camaraderie of this idiot sunshine pirate came into my life. Gave me direction to achieve my dream and I would do anything to make them happy.

More people need to care about my boy. And I will be adding him to things from here on out.

If it's not too late and after having watched the series again, I have some fresh HC's in my mind that I would like to share =

• although Shane's gang dislikes Pronto's insect food, he is the best cook by far because = Kord's food was so stiff and hard that they had to use their thresher slugs to eat it and they still remained hungry, Eli cooked once but what he made was so spicy that he sent Pronto to the hospital for emergencies; and the only time he Trixie's cooking was so disastrous that she was permanently banned from the kitchen.

• Speaking of Pronto, for an undercover mission at a gala event he was supposed to buy a dress and shoes in Trixie's size and a tuxedo in Eli's size at the commercial cavern... but he got confused and the humans in the band They had to cross-dress because they had no more time or money to get other clothing. And although the mission was a success, both Eli and Trixie had a terrible mission because they were considered attractive and they did not leave them alone even on the phone, and every time they remember the incident they cannot help but look evil at the topoid (Kord and the slugs They only laugh every time they remember the incident and have the photos as a weapon to win any debate with the teenagers).

• Trixie has sometimes stolen her friends' t-shirts, mainly to sleep in; She even stole one from Twist, one from Junjei (with whom she fought for a long time with the guardian of the East to ask to keep it) and one from Tad. her [of course, she prevents Eli from seeing that she is wearing the traitors' clothes as pajamas].

• Eli's mother did'nt disappear, she was murdered in her house when they tried to rob them on the night of Eli's 10th birthday and he was the one who found her already dying. The trauma of the same event has made him repress this that and others memories of her that he assumes that she abandoned him... And he doesn't remember much of her even if he tried.

• Eli studied at home throughout his life to avoid possible conflicts when he was old enough to go to Slugterra with the educational system, which ended at an early age and makes him a person who learns surprisingly quickly, with the disadvantage of being very naive. and easy to fool into socializing.

• The relationship between Will and who was his wife and mother of Eli started off on an absolute wrong foot; because their relationship was initially a hunter/prey relationship because she was from another cave system outside of Slugterra, so many things she said or did violated many of the Shane's secrets, including that she did not know that the shadow clan She was hostile towards people and "the burning world"/the surface (or as she referred to it as "the eternal blue"), as well as being a magnet for trouble and deception. • Will really had no intention of going above ground when his wife ended up pregnant; However, the scare she received when Blakk had attempted on her life was such that Slugterra was unprotected for at least 4 years in order to help her better adapt to the surface.

• Eli named his father's entire slugs arsenal when he was 2 years old, Will had to start calling them that because otherwise they wouldn't respond to his call.

• It is 100% proven that if Kord makes a bet, he would lose.

• Trixie's mom always calls her "Lil' Betty-Boo", an embarrassing nickname that her friends remind her of every time she receives mails from her.

• As they traveled through the caverns of the east; Kord and Pronto started drinking and rubbed it in Eli and Trixie's faces that they were too young for it. and to annoy them more, they invited Junjie when the victory was celebrated for the defeat of the emperor.(Eli didn't mind in the least but it bothered Trixie a lot)

• When someone asked Trixie and Eli if they were going out, they both just laughed like hyenas and said "yes, yes, we have a passionate bromance here."

• Of the gang, Eli is the one who is hurt the most, even above Pronto and the amount of physical damage he receives. (According to Kord, I think it's because people from the underground world have a higher damage threshold)

• When Junjie misses Shane's gang, he writes letters telling him how the situation is and that things are getting better even though he knows he can't send them. the vast majority include an apology for not being able to help find Will Shane.

I recently found in Wattpad the possibility of Yang (Junjie's ancestor, and first Eastern Protector) having multiple wives, for the main purpose of keeping his linage.

I think it's logical considering that Yang lived 2000 years ago, and could be a solid reason for Joo-Joo to facepalm over and over whenever his owners think Yang was married to only one woman. Or whenever they were slow at romance. ("Dude Yang had an army of wives, how is it possible that you are this dumb?!")

LONG TIME NO SEE YA MY PEOPLE!!!

I know I was really missing this first half of the year; I know, personal life and university… but I'm back.

And with something as stupid as funny as this arts roulette (which I think is popular on twitter lately-).

Since lately I am more active in that other social network, I will reupload each drawing. And instead of going for a consistent order; I am using an app to randomly select the colors. There are only two rules:

1. one character per series/video game/anime/movie/franchise/etc.

2. I will not vote or accept suggestions (not for nothing bad, but I already have so much thought about what characters I want to draw that I refuse to debate it).

WIP #1 (FOR XMAS)

a brief context = planning the Christmas drawing, since I couldn't decide on the theme, I decided to rely on a decision roulette wheel (which won bassrock- with a theme of beauty and the beast [don't ask how that option slipped 🤣🤣]).

but since my mind likes to make me suffer with my wrist and arm, I decided to throw myself a 2x1 in Christmas drawing with this pair of lovebirds also in armor + a funny Christmas detail.

Wish me luck to see if I can finish by the 24th 🥲🥲🥲
