I like to think of Prototype Katsuki as the jolly, refreshing kind of character and would go through extreme measures when it comes to Izuku/yamikumo (What some best friends of protagonists would do COUGHHIDECOUGH)….

……But then doppelganger Katsuki (Prototype!Katsuki) with an unhealthy obsession for Izuku is an AU which I’ve been thinking about for quite some time….Derives from this song. Takes over original Kacchan’s life after proving to be very useful and a worthy companion to the original until he double crosses him, trapping Original Katsuki (Which Im still thinking of a…method?) and just living his life. He’s friendly and happy 24/7 though. But one wrong move on Izuku from anyone irks him.

Headcanon: Kacchan puts henna where Izuku's freckles used to be, and it's not a very difficult task since he remembers exactly where each freckle used to be

love when katsuki points out how weird deku is, how insane he is, the levels this freak pushes himself to… broken bones, his wild hair that katsuki makes worse with explosions, his huge bug-eyes that always seem to fall on him… then being mortified at how much he’s into it

so i just realized bakudeku is the ultimate slowburn, childhood friends, enemies to lovers, and rivals tropes all in one no wonder i love them

The fact that katsuki started the nickname Deku and had everyone call him that, then at UA he was either called Deku or Midoriya by his peers. Deku becoming his hero name so it wasn’t a special name only Katsuki called him anymore, but when katsuki started calling him izuku, THAT became his special name for him, and no one else called him that.

Is Izuku the anxious cheetah while Katsuki is the dog in the cage meant to make it feel safe? Or is Katsuki the cheetah and Izuku the dog?
