sorry if i’m being a party pooper but because rabies is apparently the new joke on here ??? please remember that rabies has an almost 100% fatality rate after symptoms develop so if you’re bitten or scratched by an animal that you aren’t 100% sure is vaccinated then GO TO A DOCTOR. it’s not a joke. really.

Over the years the story has become myth, twisted and condensed, first whispered, then openly told, then joked about on liquor-stained breath.
Reputation only lasts so long, after all.
Once, no one would have dared to tell it to him, first out of sympathy, then out of fear he likes to think of as respect.
Now, all of that is gone.
The names have slipped from the story, and with it, any reprieve for him.
'I was there!' he wants to snap. 'I was there when my father slipped, when a single mistake brought decades down onto him, when he bled out in my arms.'
But he doesn't.
His name isn't connected to the story anymore.
Free. Unbound.
He doesn't want to shackle it down again.
So he drains his drink and swallows the bile in his throat down with it.
He can't bring himself to laugh.
The greatest of his generation. Felled by dumb luck. Guess even the best of you bleed when they're cut.
The grin has too many teeth, shark-like, predatory, and it's meant to be a threat, he knows.
Frankly, the blade twirling in grubby fingers is overkill.
He's not stupid.
He's just not scared.

This! I started writing fanfic and it's the best thing I've done for my mental health in years.
Hot take everyone needs at least one creative hobby to accompany their consumptive ones. I don’t mean just art and writing I mean literally anything where you create something. Embroidery, cooking, knitting, gardening, wood whittling, trap making, needle felting, instrument playing, bug raising, fandom analysis writing, ANYTHING where you do work and can hold the fruits of your labor in you hands. Anything where you MAKE something else.
Something that isn’t a career choice. Something you don’t have to be good at. As long as it brings you joy.
Please get hobbies, they enrich your life.

ANYWAY this is my piece for @nim-lock ‘s bobadin colouring page event (which omg, the other pieces are gorgeous)
EXTREMELY torn between "damn that was an incredibly good episode of The Mandalorian and it answered literally everything I've wanted to know for the last year, all wrapped up in a very pretty high-budget episode with fantastic cinematography"
-- and frustration over the fact that BoBF's already limited 7-episode season just dedicated an entire episode to setting up Mando S3. And did so at such a noticeably higher production quality that it's budget probably equaled all the other episodes combined.
The man didn't even get a cameo in an episode of his own show.
Okay imagine That's for whatever reason Din can't go pick up Grogu one time so he sends Boba no big deal That's his husband He calls Luke ahead of time and tells him that his husband's going to pick up Grogu.
And everything is completely normal until the second Boba Fett steps out of the ship wearing his armor and Luke is like "how are you not dead?!"
