Adult Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase are the most surreal power couple in the mortal world.
Annabeth Chase, world renowned architect who was entrusted with repairs and renovation on the Empire State Building…
…and her husband, this guy who was wanted by the FBI for blowing up the St Louis Arch seventeen years ago
People talk about how “overpowered” and freaky some of the physical feats in PJO and HOO are but I think people forget that all demigods inherently have enhanced, speed, agility, and strength. So at lot of these physical feats actually make a lot of sense in their “power scaling.”
And I know a lot of people like talk about the Lois Arc jump because that is insane but there are a lot of other feats that show off the enhanced attributes some of the other demigods have.
Like, Hazel ran after a Arion, the fastest horse alive for a WHOLE day. Hours upon hours on end. And even if Arion WASN’T the fastest horse he’s still. A horse. That Hazel was able to keep up with. And then run all the way home.
Reyna EASILY knocks away giant werewolves with a knife and used her javelin like a pole vault. Annabeth managed to fight Kronos, a whole ass Titan, to a standstill. And she’s been shown to perform moves only professional acrobatic and gymnast can do. Piper threw a fifty pound shield at Medea and was described to move fast as a viper.
Jason had dodged arrows that have appeared out of no where, no warning, and Percy has side stepped bullets. BULLETS.
Not to mention that with the Lycaon and werewolves they were all out running and keeping up with WOLVES.
So, yeah, demigods have freaky physical feats.
So none of the humans in Gravity Falls noticed when Ford was replaced by his twin, which makes sense, he was a recluse in the woods who probably only infrequently came into town for coffee or groceries. And also a secret mind-wiping cult was on the loose.
But as reclusive as he was around the humans, he got VERY social with the local supernatural entities. He raised a shapeshifter, he kept a gnome in a cage, he yelled at Steve with a megaphone. The local paranormal community was probably very familiar with the excited six-fingered human who traipsed around the woods conducting interviews and taking notes.
So, what did they think when he suddenly vanished, to be replaced by a five-fingered con artist who completely ignored the supernatural entities and began bringing humans around the shack?
I propose this:
None of the supernatural entities realized that he's Ford's twin.
They assume that as part of Ford's studies, he summoned up his own evil doppelgänger, and it killed him and took over his life. As doppelgängers are wont to do.
Which makes Stan a member of the paranormal community in their eyes; but if he'd rather try to blend in among the humans, hey, that's his business. They just won't send him invites to the town's magical meet-ups. He is, after all, an EVIL doppelgänger.

the witcher 1x04: of banquets, bastards, and burials
[image description: two sequential digital paintings; in the first painting, jaskier kneels near a window at the foot of a bathtub with a soft, open gaze. in the second painting, geralt sits in the tub with his arms propped up on the rim and stares back with a guarded expression.]
Bruce, freshly showered and in comfy pajamas, settles down at the kitchen island with a contented sigh. It’s been a long patrol—Clark had tried to intervene in a Riddler scheme and had crashed into the side of a water tower—and Bruce is ready to relax with one of his favorite treats. Smiling, he sets the Cadbury Creme Egg on his porcelain dish and sets to carefully unwrapping the foil. After carefully repositioning it several times, he readies his knife and fork to dig in to his prize.
Jason, hiding on top of the fridge: Hmm. Bruce is enjoying himself.

My completely baseless Volume 2 hopes:
I want Steve to either die and come back later or be presumed dead, like maybe after Nancys cliffhanger at the end of V1 he gets stuck in the upside down?? Idk, I just want to see peoples reactions but not have it be permanent.
A main character becomes a villain, absolutely nothing for this has been set up but the storyline opportunities are unmatched. Maybe someone who’s been to the upside down becomes corrupted in some way. Idk.
Little to no focus on romantic relationships, all the focus on the found family.
Another character being confirmed as queer.
Leave behind some kind of mystery about the upside down, I hate the idea that it’s just been one guy behind it the whole time, I hope they at least hint towards something bigger working behind the scenes.
Big character reunion before the final episode, I’ve always hated how these characters who are supposed to be best friends will somehow have absolutely no communication between each other until a dramatic scene at the end of the season.
ROBIN AND WILL INTERACTION
MIKE REACTING TO NANCY GOING TO THE UPSIDE DOWN.
That is all 😘
