Was Watching A Reaction Video To The Predator Badlands Trailer, And One Of The People Reacting Said Something

Was watching a reaction video to the Predator Badlands trailer, and one of the people reacting said something along the lines of, ‘I don’t care about predator culture, I don’t want to learn a single thing about them. I just want them to be mysterious alien hunters.’

Okay, but isn’t this way of thinking precisely what has been suffocating the franchise for the last decade? We never get anything new or anything interesting because film makers keep sticking to the same old formula in order to keep the predator species ‘mysterious’. Well, I hate to break it to you folks, but an alien species that has appeared in seven films has ceased to be mysterious a long time ago.

devil may cry devil may cry netflix i can't tell if this man just purposefully posts rage bait or not but considering the writing and choices of the first season i think i can reasonably deduce that he may in fact be actually serious well thanks for blabbing about your insane takes shankar you just saved me 3 hours imagine thinking that vergil is an antihero and that his actions are justified or even a remote reflection of the hero's journey instead of the very personal journey of someone who is deeply traumatized and has made some shitty decisions as a result who eventually realizes that it is because of his blind pursuit of power and not coming to terms with what happened to him as a child that he ended up losing everything that mattered to him (aka what was left of his family) and his sense of self but yeah by all means that definitely sounds like the story of a selfless misunderstood antihero 🙄

I'm surprised that there's a wave of people that don't like Caldarus' design. Personally I really like it and I think it fits his personality and backstory (that we know of so far) very well. Caldarus is a curious, contemplative and mysterious, regal dragon god. He's also been asleep for a very long time and has been weakened by something (or someone) in the past that we have yet to discover. Of course he is on the frail side, the dragon man's been through it and he needs rest!! So yes, I think Caldarus' design suits him wonderfully.
