So the other night my son Fbooked me the link to this video with the comment “this makes me uncomfortable.” He often teases me about all things Jovi so I didn’t take it too seriously until I watched the video and I knew exactly what he meant. It was clear from the first few moments of the band destroying the song that Jon was in a horrible position. Sit and try and act as if what was happening wasn’t his biggest nightmare or get up and try to salvage the situation. It really was a no win situation no matter what he did as the arrangement was just so goddamn awful. Then, he gets the backlash for his less than eager performance. Well duh. He had already, as admitted by the vocalist “graciously declined” singing with the band. Yet there she was sticking the microphone in his face. More than one article has cited that she was surprised that he got up after declining their invitation. Surprised? Really? You were butchering his song and effectively making him appear to be a dick for not wanting to get up and become part of your tacky “wedding singer performance.” And a reminder to those people acting as if he should just love getting up whenever and wherever he is and leading an impromptu sing a long. This is so wrong.

In this case he was supposed to be a guest. Put yourself in his position. When I go to weddings I don’t expect people to put me in a room with the kids as a babysitter because I’m so good with kids so shouldn’t Jon deserve the same respect? Horrific. To make it even better today the media jumped all over it and of course to try and make news out of nothing and cause Jon further discomfort over the matter, had to make a huge thing out of Richie’s performance at a nephew’s wedding. To compare these two performances and name one the victor is just what I would expect from a classy media source like TMZ. Well done TMZ. Kind of a no brainer that a performance where you choose to perform your song the way it’s supposed to be performed is going to come out better than when you’re ambushed and forced to try and save your song from a hack destroying it. Ok. I’m done. I think… LOL.

In bed watching this Turkish kerfuffle. How interesting indeed.

Last season after 10 games the Reds only had 14 points with a -2 goal difference. This season they have 23 with a +11 goal difference - their third best ever start to a season. C’mon you Redmen, let’s keep this going!

New Design

So noone ever fucking responds to anything I ask. But I don’t care.  Anyone not feeling the new layout.  I’m not sure if I like the old one better or not.  Let me know if you hate this one or not.  Just felt like a change.  Alright I know you didn’t come here to read what I’m writing so lets post some pics.  Also ask and/or request time.  Maybe one of these days someone will actually respond to this shit.
