So I understand why we have alters/shrines for deities, and I have two separate ones for Hekate and Loki.
But how about also having an alter/shrine to ourselves? Worship ourselves like we would the gods? We are spiritual beings, and I think we deserve our own worship as spiritual beings but also as self care and self-love to ourselves. (Especially if we struggle with that!)
I heard about someone saying to image your a demon in a humans body that you have to look after but what if we made a shrine/alter for ourselves and treat ourselves with that respect and devotion we show to a deity?
I'm thinking of trying it and seeing how it goes.
*joker voice* a gender is friends with the same gender, and no one bats an eye. but when i am friends with a different gender...
How to be Happy in Life:
1. Finish script
2. Shift
3. Happy!!!
Idk if anyone else thinks this too but I'm pretty sure that those random ideas you get for your dr aren't actually just random ideas, it's you accidentally channeling your dr self without even knowing you're doing it. that one really specific scenario that randomly popped into your head? That actually happened in your dr and you just remembered it. I have so many scenarios, quotes and little quirks that I scripted about people in my dr but they're so specific and they came to me out of nowhere and I could not have made half of those up by myself
"One day, you wake up and realise something has to change. The old habits don't serve a purpose for the person you're becoming. And when you make that change, you start to attract new beginnings to you."
Reminder to drink and eat something today! No matter how busy you are, no matter what has happened today or yesterday, you deserve to feed and energise your body. So please take out at least five minutes of your time, put everything away, or even watch a mukbang video so you're not eating alone and have a refreshing drink and meal. Love you!
as a writer who shifts realities, I have a massive urge to make a script for a new DR where I can learn more about my characters and the world that I'm building. like .. just IMAGINE adding the " based on a true story " after finishing the book. AHHHHH. there are so many advantages for writers tho. you can describe their features and personalities well because YOU HAVE SEEN THEM AND TALK TO THEM. shifting is just so beautiful. idc if people think I'm taking the easy way or something but WIN IS a WIN.
You are energy, your soul is energy, your consciousness is energy, and your subconscious is energy. Energy can not be destroyed, and it can't die. You have a vessel, a physical body which can die, but YOU, Your energy, your soul can't truly die. YOU are eternal. Your body isn't.
When someone dies, it can be good to remind yourself that their energy, their soul, and their subconscious/consciousness won't die. Their body will, yes, but the essence of their souls, what makes them who they are won't die. Death is only a transformation. It's not the end.
I think my beliefs that when someone dies, you get to choose where you want to go has helped with that just a little. For examples: If you believe in Norse paganism, you'll be able to live in Valhalla and feast amongst the gods if Odin believes you lived a life worthy of that. If you have a polytheistic belief, you will go to the underworld and get a coin as payment for Charon, who will take you across the river Styx. If you believe in Buddhism or in reincarnation, you'll get reincarnated over and over again until you achieve peace or because you want to experience life again and again. If you're an atheist, then you can live into the void or come back to earth as a spirit if you want to, etc.
Anyhow I hope this has helped someone out, like it has me.
I don't worship Ares, but I've always imagined he would be like this.
And he does but he also feels like running to your big brother for help,
Crying into the chest of a man who won’t hurt you,
Someone teaching you how to throw a punch, with no judgement
Someone picking you up when you fall and scrape your self up
He feels like tattoos of a woman with snakes for hair to remind yourself you can’t be broken
He feels like someone finally recognizing the anger and rage inside you with honor and acceptance instead of demanding peace and forgiveness
Yes girls and boys Ares is big and scary and in the spirit of rebellion but he’s also a safe place to run don’t forget that 💕
you and your body need nutrients. please make sure you are eating enough food and drinking enough water and getting enough sleep, you matter so much and i don’t want anything to happen to you
So, I've had the most roller-coaster of a ride with religion. At this point, I just don't care. They're all real. They're all there in the world, and when you die, you go to where you believe. Because I've had enough about religion because there's too many in the world and it's confusing.
But that's not the point. So I decided to put up my Hades, Aphrodite, Loki, Apollo, and Hermes alters up.
Before I decided to do that, I brought some 18+ dice for some fun, and just why not, and that was before I decided to put the alters back up.
Explain to me... why I felt drawn to giving Loki those dice, with the explanation of how to use those dice on his alter with three fidget toys near it and a (porcelain?) goose with its head smashed??? He/They/She/It (whatever Loki identities as) is really showing their chaos already!
