Now guess who wrote this, like in an actually fic with multiple chapters bc I have emotional dependence with this serie and tanthamore

so, we all know the timelines and stuff in Willow is confusing as heck, and no one really knows how old the characters are. but I just feel that Jade is at least two years older than the twins. two-three years, not more.

yeah, sure, the gap could be smaller and make sense in canon, but I just kind of like the thought of Jade being that bit older than Kit because when you’re little (like single-digits-age-little), two years is quite a lot. not so much that you don’t interact, but enough for the younger kid to look up to the older in a way while still being friends.

I just really like the idea of Kit being all gushy about her friend who works in the stables, and practices with the knights, and probably hung the stars and moon, and yeah, she could be just as gushy anyway but it just hits slightly different if 7-8 year old Jade’s a bit like “this tiny royal has decided that I’m fascinating and I don’t really understand why but I like her she’s fun and as long as I don’t get in trouble I guess she can stay” and then somehow along the way they become friends for real.

nevermind I’m just rambling.
