Understand that life is rising and falling consistently. You desire creative ownership. But do the right thing. There are days in which I want to sleep through the day. I want to sleep through the day because I want to close, to close myself to the excruciating crushing of life. I want the drug of the dream, I want to float headless. I want to not be affected by blood, pain, bones, or gravity. A rainbowed mass of vision and no form. I want to be full of the beams of fantasy. Sometimes I am like that.
I want to be so full of life. I want it so much I don’t focus. I die among other things. White wine, joints, cigarettes, too many naps, reality television, the mixing of substance. I want to feed without having to feed on anything. I want to be full without having to move. My craving for that pure dark stillness. It is a blackness made only of a blinding brilliance. That stillness which is life in its most basic essence. It is like nothing on Earth. So far here I have only found glimpses.

i don't know who else knows this but for fellow Undertale players, if you play the Pacifist Route first and then the Genocide Route like I did, but you still want everyone to have a happy ending, here's what you do. (see under the cut)
when you're done with your Pacifist Route, copy your game files into a separate folder. they'll be used later.
when you're done with the Genocide Route, there will be a new file in there. right click on that file and go into properties. there should be a tab that lets you choose whether or not your computer "reads" that file. make sure that's disabled.
once you're sure the computer is not reading the corrupted file (you can tell by reopening the game if you still see Chara or not), delete your save files and replace them with the Pacifist Route files you saved earlier. once your reopen the game, Flowey should show up again asking what you're doing there since everyone already got their happy ending.
are we above consequences? no, but the happy little pixelated characters don't deserve to suffer from our hubris. (which i mean the bad route could've just been avoided but I needed to beat Sans at least once.)

watching an ocean documentary and still blown away by how smart dolphins are. like they have their own language, its heavily implied they can understand grammar and semantics. do you think dolphins can develop their own mythos and legends? do they speak of their wolf ancestor like we do Adam and Eve?
had the epiphany last night that the opposite of a bottle of holy water is a cursed molotov.
also is anyone else as haunted by the carnivorous squirrels as I am? i feel like that was brushed aside way too fast. not only is the idea of that ultra fucked up but one of the most loveable characters ever had to endure their wrath. i get nauseous if i think about it too hard.
Lent my copy of Sunrise on the Reaping to a friend of mine and I guess I did a good job of hyping it up cuz they finished it in one day.

there's a theory that the seven days of creation are metaphorical - to connect the attributes of the ancient Egyptian gods to a singular God. another theory is that the days themselves are metaphorical, and that each element of creation corresponds to the order of cosmic development.
there's a theory that early humans inhabited around water sources, and that eating sea food, rich in omega fatty acids, contributed to our mental development. the apple is a metaphor. we gained self awareness - and through it, existential dread.
there's a theory that our souls interact with the physical world at the quantum level, which dominoe-effects into the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing us to interact with our surroundings. isn't it strange that an electron changes its behavior just from our observation of it?
Okay but it is so painful that i have to pay to exist. Most parks close at sunset. "Loitering" is a legitimate crime. Hotel rooms go for $200 a night. I can't afford rent or a mortgage. My mother can barely afford the mortgage on her house thay she's had for 25 years. Trying to go off the grid would be the same amount of effort if not more for paying off a house. This game sucks.

i have a lot of affection for ghosts because they basically want one of two things: attention, or for you to leave their house as soon as possible. both relatable and respectable goals. and they're already dead so what are you going to do about it.
& you know what it actually IS lifechanging to smile at strangers & say please & thank you & goodmorning & compliment someones outfit & help someone in need & be more accepting of loving other people just because they are other people!!!
