Manager: You can't wear that.
Me: My pentacle...?
Manager: Your necklace, yes.
Me: It's a religious thing. Plus, I wear it under my shirt most of the time. It just falls out every now and again.
Manager:You still can't wear it.
Me: What about Suzy McChristianson over there with her cross necklace?
Manager: That's different.
Me: It literally isn't though.

I am sick and tired of certain right wing Christians whining about the ADA (you know the law that ensures that disabled people get an equal shake in life). Without the ADA, myself and many of my classmates wouldn’t have been able to attend school unless our parents could afford the fees for one of the few private schools for disabled people. Many of us would be unable to move in public since ramps wouldn’t be installed, and the visually impaired couldn’t utilize guide dogs.
In the past, many of us were forcibly institutionalized and sterilized since we were viewed as worthless. Those who weren’t institutionalized were written off by teachers as lost causes, our issues largely undiagnosed. The fact that many of us were murdered in Nazi Germany was ignored until recently. It took mass demonstrations before the ADA was passed in 1990.
For a group that claims to support “Christian charity” y’all sure aren’t practicing what you’re preaching.
-Sydney: Follows all the quarantine safety protocols and only goes out when absolutely necessary. She has a list of educational tv shows, and apps for Declan.
-Adrian: Is definitely sliding back into his drinking heavily habit, but is refraining from utilizing spirit for Sydney’s sake.
-Jill: Worries about her human friends, bingewatches her favorite tv shows, and occasionally provides her sister Lissa with some insightful ideas. Misses Eddie a lot, and Zoom calls him once a week.
-Eddie: Is paranoid about accidently bringing home the virus, and has enough hand sanitizer for the whole neighborhood. Teaching Declan is the highlight of his day.
-Angeline: Is going stir crazy about being locked up, but isn’t willing to put her friends in danger.
-Trey: Spars with Angeline to cheer her up, and figures this mess will blow over someday.
-Sonya: Is assisting humans in uncovering a cure for the virus, but has to be reminded to rest occasionally.
The iMac caption was the funniest.
Can’t wait to see all my fave characters again.
Stories always begin the same way: There was and there was not. There is possibility in those words, the chance for hope or despair.

Mical is a terrible liar.
That’s quite an impressive feat there.
We’re all pieces on a game board, Dr. March, and some of us are more powerful than others. You. Me. Her. We’re the ones the gods want. We’re the ones they’re fighting over.” “And I suppose you consider yourself the king on this board?” “You must not have played chess in a while. The king is the weakest piece in the game.” He gave Justin a level look. “The queen’s the strongest.”

-Lord Byron was the inspiration for his doctor Polidori’s vampire, Lord Ruthven. He’s also a national hero in Greece, because he died fighting in their War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire.
-Mary Shelley is best known for Frankenstein and editing her husband’s work. However, she wrote several other novels. She was bisexual, and had a relationship with Jane Williams, which ended badly.
-Claire Clairemont in addition to having an illegitimate child by Byron, was fluent in five languages, including French. She outlived the majority of Byron and Shelley’s social circle.
-Percy Shelley was expelled from Oxford for his atheism, and died in a shipwreck. The death of Claire Clairemont’s illegitimate daughter by Byron haunted him.
Panera Bread fired a Pagan employee because of their religion, and now they think they're being funny with this shit.
