Happy 70th Birthday ゴジラ

70 year ago Tomoyuki Tanaka first thought a giant monster rise from the sea when he on a plane after failed to make a war film called shadow of glory with a Indonesian. With the news of Lucky Dragon no.5 exposed by radiation fallout he combined the monster on the loose from The Beast from 20,000 Fathom with the horror of atomic bomb they create a monster that spawned the Kaiju Genre. Thank you Tomoyuki Takana,Ishirō Honda,Eiji Tsuburaya, and Akira Ifukube and the past and future of Godzilla crews for giving us the greatest movie monster of all time.

Happy 30th Anniversary to The Lion King

I can’t believe it is 30 year ago since this film premiered. I remember watching this film couple of time on vhs and remember Elton John can you feel the love tonight at the end credits.

35 years ago a man name Hironobu Sakaguchi wanted to create a RPG game which will become one the most influential video game of all time. During the 80s the company called square was on a verge of bankruptcy. So the people at Square decided their final game will be a RPG.

Release on December 18 1987 Final Fantasy was born. Which began a gaming franchise that will continue to live on in spinoff,movie,merchandise and Etc.

35 years later it has capture the imagination of gaming around the world. Ever since 1987 when the four warrior of light cross the bridge to began their journey to restore the light and extinguished the darkness.

50 years ago A Super Robot of the Iron castle was born.

Inspired by Astro Boy and Tetsujin 28 and seeing a car bypass the traffic jam he wanted to create a giant robot that could drive like a car. Originally it was going to a controlled by a motorcycle but changed from the popularity of Kamen Rider. The name Mazinger Z is a combination of two word Ma meaning demon and Jin meaning God. His name means Demon God.

Mazinger Z inspired many giant robot to this day and his legacy lives on.

His iconic attack the Rocket Punch has homages in the form of jumbo machinder toy a.k.a Shogun Warrior in the west.

On this day 80 years ago Walt Disney released one of the greatest animated film of all time and one of my all time favorite movie. A story of deer learn about the tragic and beauty of the forest meanwhile meet new friend in the like of Thumper,Flower,Friend Owl and Faline. Also this film contains one of most tragic and sadness death scenes in cinema history.

The Death of Bambi Mom is very sad as she is the most kind and nicest mother ever. Her death has a huge impact on everyone including myself as I have experienced with this death.

Wild Fire scenes show what happen if we don’t take care the environment. We ourselves will become he enemy of nature.

Today is a classic film that has effects on us even 80 year after this release

And remember Love is a song that never end.

Devilman 50th Anniversary

50th years ago Go Nagai creator of Cutie Honey and Mazinger Z create a dark manga called Devilman. A story of a teenage boy being called by his friend Roy Asuka that demon is freeing fro it tomb and ready to declare war on humanity. Seeing this manga felt is going a superhero story. But awaited you in a final chapter led to a dark,tragic,and sad story about Anti-War. Devilman inspired many manga and anime including Berserk,Hell Teacher Nube,And Neon Genesis Evangelion. Devilman is one of the most classic anime and manga series that will continue to this day.

In the word of Go Nagai in his 2002 interview:

I am the author of Devilman yet throughout it's creation, I felt as though I were being pushed by an invisible power. There is no justice in war, any war, nor is there any justification for human beings killing one another. Devilman carries a message of warning, as we step toward a bright future.

45 years Ago a film that change everything forever. George Lucas wanted to create a film that inspired from serial film like Flash Gordon. We travel to a galaxy far far away with Luke Skywalker,Princess Leia,Han Solo,Chewbacca,C-3PO,R2-D2 and the dark lord of the sith Darth Vader. May the force be with you alaways.

Since 1999 Sakurai wanted to create a game that people could enjoy. It was first originally going a game called Dragon King the Fighting Game. It was until he add Nintendo character as test and the rest is history. It been a journey since Smash Bros first release in January 21 1999 in Japan and April 1999 in US. From Snake to Sora we got character that surprises us to many reaction from the fans. Since January 21 1999 when we in a kids room using a doll and use their imagination when the hand magically make the doll come to life. Thank You Sakurai for giving us one of the Most Epic Crossover in mankind history.

My Favorite moment was the Hero trailer. I was happy to see Dragon Quest in Smash. Since then I will always remember this trailer.

Wizardry 40 anniversary

40 years ago a computer game that will change the RPG Genre forever

Created by Robert Woodman he created a game inspired by Dungeons and Dragons

It was a game that inspired Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy

It was not popular in US.lucky it was popular in Japan.

So thank you Sirtech and Robert Woodman for this amazing game .

I ok with this I still love theses guy as much as a mii costume. They wanted a well know character in smash than a obscure character.

I don't know why this keeps happening, but I'm also not complaining.

I love both these couples because they want to be together. Sadly it never happen because Kazumi get killed by a swan Devil-Beast.

I love them both no matter how adorable they are.

I felt in joy to hear Dragon Quest Overture,Final Fantasy Theme,A Brave new History,Star Light zone and Monster Hunter thème during the parade of nation at the Tokyo Olympic. I jump and scream in joy to hear the music from my favorite video game series. Amen to Japan.
