I don’t think we talk enough about how good Tales of the Underworld is.
What I really like is the storytelling—it gives you just enough to immerse yourself in the narrative while leaving room for interpretation. At the beginning of the first episode, we witness the magical side of the Star Wars galaxy. Like in every fairy tale, there’s a condition for the miracle: a special place, something valuable in return, and a restriction that, if broken, would break the spell.
It’s not even important to know how Ventress fell in love with Quinlan Vos in Dark Disciple. Only one thing matters—what does "heart’s desire" truly mean?
At first, I thought the spell had erased her love for Quinlan. But seeing her constantly searching for clues leading to the Hidden Jedi Path made me doubt that. By the end of the third episode, I realized the true condition of the spell: they are doomed never to meet again. Subconsciously, she understands this. Her hesitation isn’t just caution—it’s a way to avoid getting close to the one she loves. If she breaks the condition, she will likely die.
The writers’ decision to bring her back but deny her love feels poetic. Nothing in life comes without a price.
It’s worth mentioning her companion, the young Padawan Lyco Strata. Honestly, I don’t see them as a typical "parent and child" duo. Unlike Omega’s dependence on Hunter or Grogu’s on Din, Lyco isn’t entirely reliant on Ventress. He survived without her before, and while he obviously needs her help now, it’s more like any adult in his situation would. He’s quick-thinking, adaptable, and fiercely determined to live. It’ll be interesting to see how their relationship develops.
It would be hilarious if he became Asajj’s apprentice. The Jedi in the Force would feel vindicated for all the trouble she caused during the Clone Wars.

Rodent Star Wars! This is awesome!

Samurai Mace. Third Jedi in samurai star wars concepts. Mace Windu. Magister of the Jedi order, Council Member, Great warrior. First and second HERE
Commission for @marshthat This one is a fic-cover. Portrayin Jiaoqiu in the crusial moment of his life. You can find original fic there https://archiveofourown.org/works/59983474/chapters/161750575 Give author a cudos. And good time for everyone.
*slams this comic down and yells about it* It's not that feelings are wrong, it's that they are Level 100 Space Psychics whose emotions are the foundation of their connection to the energy field that gives them those abilities. A Jedi can literally crush someone's windpipe with their mind. A Jedi can move so fast a regular person could never keep up with them, they could slice right through you before you could do more than twitch. A Jedi is placed in a position where lives are going to depend on how well they can handle a crisis. Feelings are normal, natural, and the Jedi have never said to suppress them. But instead that control is vital and this is exactly why--because using the Force through anger and fear is the dark side, that's literally what the Force is, your emotions. Jedi have to have higher standards than most people because otherwise people will die. Qui-Gon is not the first to say this (off the top of my head, I remember instances of Obi-Wan saying it in The Clone Wars, I remember Depa saying it in the Kanan comics, this is basically what Yoda was talking about in ESB) because this is what the Jedi teach and live by. Check yourself before you wreck yourself, because wrecking yourself is going to get a lot of people hurt.
Originaly this piece was made for @acatbyanyothername9 as a present for friends birthday. The main point was a slavic nature and costumes and fairytale look. And I think it went good. And couple days earlier my sister came by and look at original and told me: "You know, this looks gorgeous, like from museum. Also dull colours… like in museum paintings" So, sinse I have new monitor, I made this remake, thank for my sister. And original work was made thanks to Cat!
Just another day in life of padawan Mace Windu.
And what night starry sky telling you?
There is no secret or some hidden knowledge that Jedi were created under the heavy influence of Japanese samurai culture. Space warriors, servants of the government and state. And I had a thought "What if make designs more eastern influenced and still GFFA ' There is result.
It's difficult to be a student, but even more difficult to be a PADAWAN! Jedi, role models and saviors of the galaxy, diplomats and warriors. All worlds of the Republic depend on them!
And here is slice of an ordinary day of some not so ordinary padawans!
No hug for Qui-Gon, or what could happen, when your Master id good at words, but little dumb of hints. And you’ prefer to act, than to speak! Diplomatic incident and lot of house chores.
Negotiating the passageway.
This piece was made for @midnightdelirium during winter exchange. Prompt was lovely and tempting. One of this two, Qui or Obi never was a Jedi, and became man of the fortune in the galaxy. Decision was left for artist. So I gave if a thought and a couple of sketches, and decided on Qui-Gon to be a smuggler.
Because, by George Lucas he was added to the story later, and also this gave a really interesting parallel with lOld Ben and Luke negotiating passage to Alderaan with Han Solo.
Difficulties to be a writer This piece was commissioned by Firondoiel as a banner for writers content blog. I really enjoed to work with this piece, cause of style (I really like to draw like this) and the theme! BAckgroud wehere you cad add a lot of intersting details, some easter eggs and other creatures. Would like to work on smth like this again!
This one was commissioned by dear Purpuddle Obi-Wan Kenobi after the RotS but before New Hope. Man haunted by war, treachery and exterminations of his kind. But there is still hope in the Galaxy. And he will do what he must to protect this little flame.
Great piece and I like it very much!
Look at the tension, and hope for better future for all of them
Encounters
This art was part of an exchange event for @ins0mnia-dreams. I was trying to make them look similar to the clone wars (2003).
I adore the designs in it.

This won't end up well, but I like to think that maybe Qui-Gon Jinn will try to reason with his old master instead of going for a fight.
At least at first.
Qui-Gon and Tahl of merpeople! Hope she will not eat him on some dark day... cause oceant is wast and there is a lot of fish and other things.
Tahl bossig Qui around. Padawan Jinn became a tall tree to soon, so she has to bend him a little so he listen to her carefully! She’s not catch up her final height, but bosy the same.
There is now doubt who’s the sandwich filling!
Latest commission for Pixelshiftexe!
Jedi OC name - Kaedrekuin. She saw a lot in her life! Like her as a character, if you want more info. please ask Pixelshiftexe. From my side I can tell that was a joy to draw her, All angular and little grumpy!
Riding the city This one was made for dear temve. AU where Rael Averross after disaster on Pijal hadn’t return to the Jedi Temple, but came to his Master, where started to learn Sith ways. here is the Sith apprentice Rael with dark side madness in his eyes.
The Slice of Life This one was made as a part of February exchange for @Purpuddle . The prompt was so tempting, so I had a lot of pleasure to work with it! So here are Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi on some backwater planet, in the alleyway of big market enjoying their food, while the Life Tragedy unraveling in front their eyes. Little aleena chief standing against gang of tookas. Suppose on some point Jedi mediation will be needed! ---------- As for a piece itself, that was quite a challenge. But I’m proud how it went.
Thing that have to be just a portrait study, ended up as a Rael Averross portrait. Rael, first padawan of Jedi Dooku according to disney book Master and Apprentice by Claudia Grey. While I’m not a fan of this book at all. And I’m stuck with Legends and my oun headcanons on characters. To draw Dev Patel as Rael was quite funny. So here is rogue Jedi from the disney universe
Accepting the padawan and choosing the master. Happy moment between initiante Obi-Wan and master Jinn. Illustration for Listen to What the Force Says by Obi_ki
Au where Jedi allowed to have more than one padawan. Dooku has two - Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. So, one day brilliant idea of costume party hit Yoda. And fun begins! Or how Dooku chose his costume
