“Ugh… my head.” A young man, sat in a pure white and mist filled realm. Clouds filled in all around him. “Uhh, hello? Is anyone there?” He called out into the mist, standing up; trying to peer through the clouds.
“Hahahah! Foolish mortal! Do you not recognize your mighty creator!” Some disembodied voice called from all around him, he stared into the white as the clouds lifted up and away. Revealing… a young girl, and for some reason she was surrounded by a number of bright shining stars. Zac just stood there, dumb founded. ‘ “foolish mortals huh?” ‘ Zac thought to himself ‘guess she thinks she is some kinda goddess. Might as-well play along, I’m sure someone is looking for me and will come rescue me… eventually.’ “Right, and I’m an ancient ethereal being as-well. Perhaps you know of me, Zac- god of the… well, I was a god. You might wanna rethink this over little miss…” The young goddess reeled back, “Huuhhhhh?!?!? No-No-No! I’m so sorry! I’ll do anything! Forgive me!” ‘Now I am just confused, but if I want this crazy kid to send me home then I should continue playing along with it.’ “Alright…in that case, would you mind returning my power to me? I’ve been wandering the many worlds trying to find my way back to the world I created, but each time I visit the wrong world my power is leeched from me so that I might be able to leave it and rejoin the realm between. And since my power requires worship I’ve been unable to revive it.” The young goddess nodded, smiling brightly at being able to help and elder god. “Yes of course! I’ve heard of a god like you, he was blasted off into the void between the worlds after a demon lord cast him out. I’m so glad I was the one to find you! Call me goddess Fortuna! Goddess of luck! I’d love to help oversee the old god of the hand’s re-entrée to godship!” ‘Just smile, just keep smiling. Don’t let it show.’ “Thank you so much Fortuna! By the way, are you one of the new goddesses? I cannot seem to remember you. I recall a number of goddesses, but not their names or what they looked like.” ‘Booyah! Well played Zac! You got her on the run for you! and now you know what you are to god of! The god of the hand- wait… as in, the god of friendships?’ Fortuna cleared away the white clouds, revealing the realm between worlds. The young goddess holding out her hand for Zac to hold. “Here mister Zac! I’ll take you to your world! You must have been stuck on Earth for quite awhile huh? That yellow king doesn’t seem to be able to focus on his peaceful worlds as much as most gods should huh?” ‘Shit… worst case scenario. Real goddess, and I somehow managed to guess everything about the rules of physics correctly. I am in so much trouble if anyone finds out…’ He held his smile, taking her hand. Gently pushing off into the realm between worlds with her, just flouting along as he went. “Hey Fortuna, if you wouldn’t me asking… how did the human vassal I was inhabiting die? I had put alot of effort into making it happy, I knew I would be out of power soon so I was making it a point to help each vassal I was forced into to live long full filling lives.” The young goddess pouted. “I’m sorry to say this but that poor human died much too young, you only managed to keep it alive its adolescent years. Which is likely why you look like him, I still like to keep the form of my original body, but I know a few gods who change depending on their most recent vassals form.” He nodded, continuing to keep smiling. “I prefer to keep vassals that look my current form, so once we get to my world, would you mind helping me pick a new vassal to inhabit? It has been far too long, I’m worried about how the world has been progressing without my involvement.” ‘Keep it up Zac, you’re standing to gain a whole lot from this. Just keep it up dammit.’ The goddess shuddered. “About that… the world was directly… err we directly got involved to remove the demon lord… If it was powerful enough to destroy the eldest of the gods, the god of hands. Then we would have to destroy it immediately before it got into the realm between worlds.” ‘alright, you are supposed to act serious and a bit surprised.’ “That is… nobody saw the other gods direct involvement right? My… my people haven’t become complete devotes?” The goddess stopped and panicked. “No-No-No!!! Don’t worry! We completely wiped all knowledge of the demon lords existence! All your peoples are exactly the same as you left them, matter of fact; they are even better now! We managed to increase the world average quality of life to a level 5! There hasn’t been a war for 3 years!” ‘wait… only… three.’ “Err… Fortuna… its not very good there at all… is it?”
The young goddess was about to say something but stopped, and only nodded. ‘guess, I have alot of work to do’ “Do the other remember me… are they still around?” The young goddess shook her head, as they began to pass by a number of desolate and dying worlds. “The demon lord… did manage to get into the realm between worlds… The elder gods all raised arms, seeing their oldest friend cast to the void. And they… well they tried to kill it, the goddess of destruction, managed to finally destroy the demon lord and the last of his underlings. But in the process she feel into dispair and died herself. No one worshipped her in this time of multi-world suffering, so she passed to the mana. She was the last of the eldest gods, giving birth to replacements, me, and the many others who came about more recently.” ‘dammit, how do I respond. Alright, acting time.’ “All, my friends… I…” He would begin to well up with tears, a single tear falling and landing upon one of the old worlds. An air of life being breathed into it gently. The young goddess saw this and smiled, giving Zac a big hug. One deity to another. “You aren’t the god of hands any more then… cause all the hands you held are gone. You must be the new god of life!” He would blink, his eyes open wide. Then he would smile brightly, happily. ‘boom! Score!’ “Yes, thank you… that helps. I’ll have to revive as many worlds as I can then huh? My little goddess of fortune.” ‘HIS LITTLE GODDESS OF FORTUNE?!?!’ Those words rocked inside Fortuna’s mind. ‘SHIT SHIT SHIT!!! I MANAGE TO FIND THE LAST OF THE ELDEST GODS AND HE’S A COMPLETE KNOCK OUT OF A GUY!!! AHHHH WHAT DO I DOOOOOOO-’ “Err, Fortuna? Are you okay?” “Yes! I’m completely fine! Don’t worry about me mister Zac!” “Uhh, okay then… So… where is my world then?” ‘lets hope its not too bad.’ She would pull him along, showing him to the only world that seemed to not actually be at war. “This was your old world, its… crumbled so far from what you guided it to become.” ‘This is amazing! It has magic, magical beasts, a slew of humanoid races, and it even has secret crypts and tombs hidden around the world. Just… hmm ok, lets make a little mental list of things I should remember’ The goddess of luck was perplexed by this mister Zac, he almost immediately began to hover around his world; inspecting every town and group of beings there. He had somehow summoned a large book, in the middle of the realm between worlds no less! Such power has never been seen before by any of the new gods, what magic is he capable of? “Alright! Its no where near as bad as it could have been!”
‘wait what? What is he talking about… this is the worst world that any god could possibly start with, even the dead worlds would be easier to get back to life.’ “Uhh, what are you referring to mister Zac?” “Oh, I mean. Well, there are still many pockets of life to grow easily. Like small seeds, all they need is water.” He smiled brightly, as he looked back at the world. Taking the book he had (unknowingly)summoned to his side and filled with his writing. Holding it with himself. ‘great! Now I just need to apply all my modern aspects of agriculture and everything will improve greatly!’ Fortuna was just, speechless. “Sorry, uhh, sir. You couldn’t possibly mean you… could easily bring this planet back to its prior glory?” “Yes! Maybe not quickly, but I can do it eventually!” ‘I may not have been much to look at in the human world, but hey! If I keep this up I might make a delicious life of immortal paradise!’
“as it was miss Fortuna, I think I’ll get to work… Hmm, I think I’ll make myself a vassal. Oh this will be absolutly wonderful! Starting off my re-entrée with quite the bang huh~?” He jumped down, holding the book tight to his chest as he fell to the world. Fortuna watching him with bewilderment and wonder in her eye. ‘I’ll have to visit her after I get my vassal some proper establishment.’ —— Authors note. HEY EVERYONE! I’m trying something new this time! The other project will be put on hold for now as I work on both series at once. This writing has some heavy inspiration from the anime “Jobless Reincarnation”, “Overlord”, “From common place to worlds strongest”, “The hero is overpowered but overly cautious”, and last but not least the book series “The Land of Eylon”.
I havent even finished my art prelim project. And the fucking test is on tuesday.
have fun w/ this
We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.

Hello please reblog this if you’re okay with people sending you random asks to get to know you better
the notes are broken 😂
The humanoid monster kept walking, running almost, trying to lead the lost girl out from the mess of the void and anti-void. The creature, blades black as the void sticking from its back, and two orbs of the anti-void in place for its eyes, ran from the grey lines between into a brown forest, not a leaf of green to bless its canopy. “Hey! Wait! Where are you going! You haven’t told me anything yet!” The girl ran, calling after the strangely fast broken creature as it disappeared into the backdrop of the brown forest. The girl paused, stopping at the border between the brown forest and the lines between the voids. She strained and peering at the brown mass of decay and rot, looking and searching for the black blades hewn from the void stabbed in the creatures back, or for the two white orbs pulled from the light of the anti-void. At last she found them, the blades hung in mid air, as the white orbs stared back at her. A cursed butterfly of death she ran after it, the blades of void fluttering through the air as its eyes of white glowed and cast shadows on the trees that couldn’t be seen through the brown of the decaying forest. The girl ran and ran after them, following their light as she traversed the maddeningly blank of this forest. The butterfly flew, casting the shadows on the tree, and still the girl ran, touching each tree the butterfly shone upon; her hands picking up spots of the brown ick upon her hands and shoes. Finally she ran out of the forest, onto a grey background. Large hewn stones invisible against the greys and marbled browns of the rock. The girl stuck out like a flower upon fresh fallen white snow, espoused, raptured, cast upon a place she did not belong. The brown of the forest and the grey of the lines having been tracked along her path by her shoes as she walked carefully and slowly through the stones, glimpses of the butterfly sitting on a red rock making it to her eyes through the grey of the stones. With every stone she touched a little mark of brown was left, her trail being followed by the creatures of the back drop. She could only here them, foot steps, paw steps, the warnings this place mercifully gave to those in danger. She begin to move faster, her steps varied and spread, her path muzzled and marked, mixing into the painted grey of the rocks. Still she made her way to the clearing where the butterfly sat, finally finding herself there, she raised her voice. “Alright, enough running, things are following me now, what is it you need me to know?” She called to the butterfly, its ethereal form fluttering on the rock. “You’ve already learned all you need, your doing it right now, marking the path forward, marking the way ahead. Your feet, odd they may be, pick up the paint of other lands, and leave it behind you when you step. Your hands, delicate and useless as they are, pick up and move the paints of the lands as you move from object to object. You do everything that I could have ever asked of you.” She stuttered, faltering. Her legs giving out beneath her, panic screaming in her mind. A rock, cracks next to her, crumbling and failing to hold itself. She reached over, to the stone. A blue blade, standing there perfectly for her to take. Shakily she raised a hand, taking the blade in her hand. Its blue paint staining her hand over the brown and grey she had unknowingly marked it with. She heard the foot print of a creature of grey right behind her, and swung, striking the creature a deep mark with the bright blue painted blade. Swinging it in front of her she ran into the grey rock stone lands around her, cutting any stone she ran into in half with that mythical blade. Leaving marks of blue, brown, grey, black, and white where every she swung, stepped, and rested upon. Running, just running now. She had come upon a grass green land, a bright blue sky above and a green grass like turf beneath her she kept running. The creatures of grey did not follow here as she did, standing alone now, she scanned the blue for any semblance of an objective. There was nothing now, the grey stone lands were far behind her now, and the decaying brown forest had left her before that. The butterfly and its blade wing, and gleaming eyes did not follow her when she left, instead it stayed and sat till she supposed it sated its wish to sit upon the red stone. So sat she did too, waiting, watching the horizon of unchanging sky blue. “Marking the path forward huh… Alright, then that’s what I’ll do. There’s got to be some sort of intelligent creature around here, a society of those rat things or a people of the butterflies. Either way, I don’t feel like being lost into this green and become one of those creatures that was chasing me.” She stood up, seeing the multi-colored path she left behind her, and began to walk in the same direction, walking away from her own laced path. Leaving steps like walking stones behind her, as she was finding her way to the edge of the green, where a small cottage of yellow sat in that color and shade. A single yellow mark upon the green grass and blue sky. —- —- —- Hey everyone! Here you go! Hope you all like it! Have a good day everyone!
