What if instead of Blocktales: Swords of Time, it was called Lovetales: Swords of Affection and instead of you (the player) casually battling the enemies, you have to resist in becoming too flustered/embarrassed due to the enemy's tactics

(Yes, this is entirely based on @niko-aspin love au kinda thing 😔🙏)

Like the enemy would still attack you yeah, and you'll have to attack them too, but in between it would be like a time event where you need to resist the enemy's compliments/flirts/gestures and if you don't, you deal A LOT of damage (Because of internal embarrassment)

Like, imagine Soft King (Cruel King) just randomly drop the MOST JAW-DROPPING, POETIC COMPLIMENT ON YOU IN BATTLE EVEN THOUGH THE VOICES WON'T LEAVE HIM ALONE

And The Lover (The Griefer)? NAHH DON'T GET ME STARTEEDDD, HIS FLIRTS OR WHATEVER WOULD BE HORRENDOUSLY CRINGEY AUGHHH, AND NOT EVEN IN THE GOOD WAY, BUT IT STILL MANAGES TO MAKE YOU TAKE DAMAGE??? WHAT.

BUT THERE'S A CATCH, instead of the bosses dying or whatever, THEY GET TO JOIN YOU IN YOUR PARTYY!!! Like, imagine Cruel King using his Ice Dagger to heal you, The Griefer using his Venomshank to poison the enemiesss, all with like short dialogues too

AND AND ANDDD, the smaller enemies and all won't die, but they'll just get too frustrated/dizzy and collapse

Of course, not all enemies will have like a romantic kinda way of complimenting you, it could just be genuine and platonic ones 😼
