I imagine, that the crew didn’t leave immediately after the movie finale, but stayed for a few days until their ship was properly repaired. King Dymas generously granted them the best shipwrights and craftsmen for the repairs and Proteus in turn spent some time with Sinbad’s crew. Drunk shenanigans ensue. 

Marina is relieved to see Proteus FINALLY act on his feelings since he basically  could never shut up about his childhood best friend that disappeared for a century. The OT3 are unseparable until the crew leaves Syracuse to girlboss their way through the world. Minus Proteus because of his princely duties. Sinbad and Marina do however visit him regularly and bring him the most ridiculous souvenirs from their adventures. 

Part 2 on what bothers me about sinbad legend of the seven seas (what I didn’t like)

The white washing of the character Sinbad himself.

And sexualization of marina behind the scenes.

I hate how this enabled white people to cosplay as him and wear turbans as if it where a costume.

Even though this is a Sinbad x proteus account i i envision Sinbads personality and physical appearance different from cannon ( not a white dude with a turban) . Cause they really white washed a guy and made him an ass hole for no reason. (Perks of fan fiction) -I’ll make sure to leave links of fics I like, also kudos to the person that redid his design when I find it I’ll add the pic and @ cause that’s the sinbad I like.

In conclusion I dislike canon sinbad I would elaborate more but as of now it’s pretty late for me

Also they could’ve done a lot more with his character but really dropped the ball short when it came to dynamics and character development

(ok this is just my opinion so please no hate u can disagree with me on this ,thats fine also sorry im all over the place I just rewatched this movie and the potential it had but never got a second chance angers me to the core) lol excuse my grammar im rage typing.

I DONT WANT A REMAKE I WAnT the SEQUAL THAT WAS CANCELEDDD, (AND THE SPINOFF SHOW ),this movie was not a flop.tragically it got overshadowed by two movies that where gonna come out the same year as treasure planet. ughhhhh I would have loved to see them expand on this and I would have loved to have seen more of Jims character development after ,while he's at the academy. OMG also if the sequel did come out we would've gotten to see silver again. (I would've liked to seen Kate and what role she plays In sequel besides being the love interest , im not exactly sure how I feel about Jim having a love interest yet I would have liked them to just be friends in the sequel and then date later on ,idk thats a whole convo for in other day it just seems a bit rushed cause its obvious he used have amendment issues and maybe still does and is working on it so I don't see him getting into a romantic relationship just yet)

if their was a remake I would absolutely hate it, I dont want Jims and silvers special moment to be remade on screen that shit already happend let it be dont change it , also the score “im still here “ I would hate the idea of the song being changed. (the song is perfect as is) till this day it still holds up.

the only reason why I bring this up is because I keep seeing on my insta feed (probably the same instagram post) that some people think a remake would be great ,I personally think that the remake would destroy anything special the original had.

also I love tom holland but I really cant see anyone as Jim Hawkins , besides that it would be amazing if we get to see a sequel in 2d animation again. damn I miss the cast I would love to see them work together again .

I know for a fact some characters would be butchered.

at the end of the movie hes gonna chart his own course and I really wanna see it all the way through.

IN CONCLUSION WHERE IS THE SEQUAL WE NEED A SEQUAL.
