So I made a post about a Twst x TOH crossover before but I now know more about Twst so I want to talk about some things

First, Idk if the Hex squad would be sort on different houses or if they'll spent x amount of days in each house to have a full experience. Ig it will make sense if they didn't get sorted bc they're from a different universe but I'll go with the "each of them get sorted in a house" route bc it's funnier lol

Ok, so here are some things I thought about:

Luz, despite being quite the extrovert, she would definitely be sorted into Ignihyde with all the weebs and gamers lol. She would make friends with Ortho quickly but Idia would hide from her despite that, as housewarden, he's in charge of showing her around

Hunter gets sorted in Savanaclaw, he gets terribly attached to Jack bc he's a wolf and often follows his lead. Jack, as a lone wolf, doesn't know how to deal with it but let's Hunter be bc he knows it's only temporary. Otherwise, Hunter is wary of Ruggie bc he seems shady and is disappointed housewarden Leona is such a lazy slump, he doesn't get why Jack admires them sm. He might get it if he gets to join them for a magic shift game

Idk where to sort Amity, I don't think she'll be in Heartslabyul but I definitely want to have her bond with Riddle over their controlling mothers. Riddle would talk about how much it helps him to have Trey's (his childhood friend) support and Amity would share about how much she's trying to rekindle her relationship with Willow

I feel like if Amity got homesick, she'll unconsciously wander around the Leech twins. They're not the same but something about them reminds her of her siblings, specially Jade who's a little shady and also has a smile that you can't tell if it's mocking or polite, he reminds her of Emira

Willow gets sorted into Diasomnia. She doesn't have any problem trying to befriend Malleus and feels a little bad for him when she notices people avoid him like the plague. Befriending Lilia and Silver it's easy and she surprisingly can stomach Lilia's cooking? (All the Hex squad can except Luz lol) She actually offers to cook for them but they're horrified when they learn about fairy pies and Willow apologizes profusely when they tell her they're faeries (which is close enough), it gets a little awkward and Silver jokes that at least it's good to know his father's cooking isn't the worse in all the multiverse. With Sebek, well, I don't think he'll be as intense as he normally is with her bc he learns she isn't human and that she has great magical talent, which I think it's something he'll be able to respect and if he doesn't, she'll make him. I do see him whining about her getting too close to Malleus though lol

I'll like to see Willow and Azul bonding over their past bullying, Idk how or why would Azul ever open up about it though 🤔

Vee gets into Scarabia and gets along with Kalim and Jamil. She will see how much Jamil works and offers to replace him whenever he feels too tired, it takes some time for him to trust her but he eventually caves but tells her not to tell Kalim bc he wants to see how long it takes before he notices. Surprisingly Kalim notices right away, he goes "WHO ARE YOU" the moment he sees a nervous smile on Jamil instead of his usual grumpy face and it escalates from there

I'm not sure where to sort Gus, but I'm inclined to put him in Octavinelle just bc I think he'll really get into the mafia vibes lol

Despite that, I can see Gus going around with Luz, Ortho, Grim, Yuu, Ace and Deuce playing pranks on students with his illusions

Either King would accompany Luz wherever she goes or he gets into Ramshackle with Yuu and Grim

How is the English version of Twisted Wonderland Different? (Jamil)

Jamil’s overall situation was heavily rewritten for the English-speaking audience.

As Kalim himself explains, Jamil and his family are servants for Kalim and his family.

Jamil is constantly using the word “従者” to refer to himself, which is close to body servant / personal attendant / aid, and EN will sometimes translate directly, but it is rare.

Jamil uses a different word to describe the rest of the staff employed by Asims, though “staff” is one of the interpretations that is used for his role in the English-language adaptation.

More often Jamil’s role is rewritten as “employee” for the EN, with Kalim’s role as his master being rewritten as “boss.”

This happens multiple times in the Firelit Sky event, where Jamil’s references to his master, “Kalim-sama,” were changed to him saying “employer.”

Jamil’s line of calling himself a “servant” was changed to “dedicated employee” on EN, and the character has been rewritten into someone who is voluntarily dedicated to his job, while—in the original game—he was born into servitude that he fulfills against his will:

In a conversation with Floyd Jamil originally says that he cannot comprehend the twins’ relationship with Azul because he has been a servant of the Asim house since he was born and that “Masters are masters and servants are servants, and that will likely never change.”

This was not only rewritten on EN with the “masters are masters, servants are servants” line removed, but in English he goes so far as to say, “I’ve always been loyal of the Asim house. And that will likely never change,” instead.

In the original game Jamil expresses concern that Kalim's father would make his family suffer if he ever stood up for himself, but this was changed on EN to Jamil worrying about a lecture from his parents.

Jamil explains that he risks putting his family on the street if he were to defy Kalim, and this was also removed from EN. (This information was retained in another scene, however, where Jamil says there would be consequences for his entire family if Kalim were exposed to any danger, even on EN.)

The prefect comments, “That doesn’t seem like a responsibility that a child should be burdened with,” changed on EN to, “I guess you make a good point.”

In another line that was removed from EN Jamil says, “That is the fate of those born a Viper,” insinuating that his little sister Najma may also be a servant of the Asims, just like their parents and himself.

In a flashback, we see Jamil get physically struck by one of his parents for refusing to play a game with “Master Kalim,” as an example of how Jamil is eing forced to defer to Kalim in all situations, and has been from childhood (we are not shown how Kalim reacts to this happening in front of him).

When the headmage compliments him on his cooking, however, Jamil’s reassurance of “It is all thanks to Kalim” was removed from EN.

Jamil is not shy about referencing his and Kalim’s dynamic at the school, often referring to himself as the servant and to Kalim as his master, though these lines are usually rewritten on EN.

During his birthday vignette, for example, he says that he would like to teach a parrot to say the word “Master.” This was changed on EN to him wanting to teach it how to say, “hello.”

Calling Jamil “Master” seems to be a side effect of his unique magic. This was kept for Book 6, but removed from Book 5 of the English-language adaptation.

Aside from the attendant/master drama, Jamil’s character has also been changed:

As explained even in the English version of the game, Jamil—like Idia—seems to dislike tradition, saying that he is not fond of his hometown because, “It’s still clinging on to all the tired old customs…much to my chagrin.”

In EN’s attempts to rewrite references to Jamil’s servitude, however, he has been changed into someone who respects tradition.

Original Jamil: How could a vassal ever be permitted to turn on their master?

EN Jamil: How could I betray our history like that?

While Jamil originally says he does not want to make the opening ceremonies into an embarrassing memory for his master, EN-Jamil says that “It wouldn’t do for an attendant of House Al-Asim to not uphold tradition.”

and not to mention the terrible mischaracterization he suffers ppl act like he's narcissist a terrible person a sadist when he's one of the most caring characters in twst, he's not a fucking terrible housewarden like yall like to pretend he is, vil is STRICT but he is an amazing housewarden that cares a LOT about his students and that's why he goes to them PERSONALLY to make a specific routine that will help them be their best self and be healthy, i find it so funny how it only happens with vil too because riddle is just as strict if not even more and nobody ever dared say he's a bad housewarden WHICH DONT GET ME WRONG i also don't think riddle is a bad housewarden and im actually glad he doesn't get the shit vil gets for absolutely no reason in this fandom, i just think it's hilarious how many ppl hate vil and worship riddle when they are extremely similar in multiple ways

My dumbest TWST headcanons

Yuu: everyone has forgotten their name and preferred pronouns. No one is willing to ask after so long, hence everyone calling them 'prefect' all the time

Grim: he is the reason why no dorm has tried to get Yuu to transfer in. They simply do not want him and unfortunately they are a package deal

Riddle: cannot handle spice. He ate a bell pepper once and started sobbing incoherently. Bell peppers are notoriously non-spicy

Trey: has mom hands in that he can handle hot plates without even flinching because he has permanently ruined the nerve endings in his hands from all of the times he's handled hot baking trays without mitts

Cater: has only like 7 Magicam followers because, as fun as his tags are, they aren't great for the algorithm

Deuce: has been told "that's unfortunate" multiple times after introducing himself. Does not understand why. No one tell him.

Ace: the type to never wait for his food to finish cooling. He burns his tongue at least once a day. He will never learn. Nor will he ever actually taste anything he puts in his mouth. Uses this for bets ("bet you that I can eat *insert the most disgusting concoction ever*" "don't...")

Leona: the entire school has a group chat devoted to the most insane places they've found Leona sleeping. Nothing has managed to top the time someone spotted him curled up in a cauldron that the first years were about to use for Alchemy. (Ruggie has tried to bribe his way into this group chat multiple times but everyone is too scared of Leona to give it to him)

Ruggie: the type to dump trauma on you without realizing it's messed up. Jack asked him once "Where'd you get that" and pointed to a scar and Ruggie was like "oh yeah that's from the time a guy stabbed me" and Jack has never asked him anything since

Jack: complains constantly about how big his tail is because it keeps wagging and giving away his tsundere-ness. Wants a little tail he can stuff into his pant legs to hide it

Azul: his glasses are fake. He thinks they make him look intimidating

Jade: will make fun of people for yawning in front of him. ("Scandalous" "????") He refuses to explain

Floyd: bites people he likes. Moray eel bites can cause paralysis and even beyond that his teeth are wicked sharp. This has caused several misunderstandings in his life

Kalim: everyone know's he's coming because all of his jewelry clink against each other. Like a cat with a bell on its collar. There is a betting ring about whether Jamil planned for this or if it's just how Kalim is that has spread schoolwide

Jamil: has absolutely responded to Kalim saying "Treat spiders the way you want to be treated" with "Killed without hesitation". Unironically

Vil: has accidentally cursed his own food several times. Never anything serious, but you would think it was with the expression of utter horror on his face every time

Rook: is the one in class to deal with bugs. He will pull a hairband out of his pocket (saved for this very occasion, or in the horrible case that Vil's hair tie might snap) and snipe the bug out of midair

Epel: constantly tries to get away with breaking rules right under Vil's nose. Out of spite. He has yet to succeed, but insists he WILL. One day. He will not

Idia: has lamented sending his tablet to class several times because he can't play some of his favorite games when it's away. Does not seem to realize that he would not be able to play those games while in class anyways

Ortho: has programmed idle animations

Malleus: his horns constantly hit the top of doorways. The entire room will go very quiet when this happens because they're scared if they breathe they will laugh and they Can Not Laugh At Malleus Draconia

Lilia: upon finding out his true age, the first question he is always asked is how his cooking is seriously "like that"

Silver: will wake up, find a miscellaneous animal sleeping on him, and go back to sleep because he would rather die than wake up the poor thing

Sebek: banned from the school library. There is no librarian so it literally doesn't change anything there's no one to enforce it but he still won't go in on principle

Crowley: has submitted a tax form with simply the word "No" on it. Is not sure why it didn't work

Crewel: messed up a potion once in front of a class. Swore everyone to secrecy about it. It is the only secret that has not spread through the school

Trein: has been called by his cat's name more than once

Vargas: students are often late to things because "Coach Vargas is hunting students for sport again :( ughhhh"

Sam: will trip students he doesn't like over 'loose floorboards'

Hi! Sorry to bother you, I'd like to ask for a twisted wonderland match-up if that's ok.

I'm a girl, 5'2", with short redish brown hair and blue eyes, and glasses.

My personality type is INTP-T, I'm a Taurus, I LOVE dogs and cats, and my favorite foods are sushi and bubblegum.

I'm really awkward in social situations unless I know the person really well or we have something in common.

I'm kinda athletic and I do martial arts (specifically taekwondo) for fun, but I'm not big on sports or things like that.

I usually dress in flowey loose comfy clothes, but I try to make my outfits look as nice as possible without making them uncomfortable.

I took acting classes for a few years so I'm usually super overdramatic when someone offends me, but I do it in a sarcastic way.

I'm a night owl to the point where I'm awake for half the day and half the night.

When I get into something, I really get into it. Like, I won't be able to think about anything else for weeks if I find a new show that I like and I have to learn literally everything about it, I'm not that interested in many things though.

I hate schedules and prefer to make random spontaneous decisions which is really annoying for some of the people I know. My creativity also comes in bursts which isn't great when I want to finish big projects.

I think my love language would be quality time. Even though I like my space, spending time with people I enjoy being around is lots of fun and it usually goes hand in hand with things like good communication and respecting each other.

Your spontaneous and not to mention random decisions can catch Trey off-guard, but he does his best to keep up with you because in the end you always manage to make him smile with your projects. He does offer to help you with them so they won't be left unfinished.

Trey loves spending time with you, be it just the two of you in private or with your friends. You love and cherish your friends and time spent with them is always time well spent and that is just one of your winning qualities that Trey loves in you. In the end, it’s him you love and that is sweeter than any of his desserts.
