Here’s an answer to a question I’ve been asked A LOT - “how tall is Mirabel?!” Official answer: 5’2” - all other characters’ heights are relative to hers, so that’s all I got… except Bruno who has, you know, a seven foot frame and 🐀🐀🐀 along his back. #Encanto

Luisa: 6'4" / 193 cm

Isabela: 5'5" / 165.1 cm

Julieta: 5'4" / 162.6 cm

Agustin: 5'10" / 177.8 cm

Alma: 5'4" / 162.6 cm

Mirabel: 5'2" / 157.5 cm

Bruno: 5'4" / 162.6 cm

Camilo: 5'3" / 160 cm

Pepa: 5'6" 167.6 cm

Dolores: 5'5" / 165 cm

Antonio could be between 3'6"-3'8" (106.7 cm - 111.7 cm), but he's still only 5 so his height can change with time.

Edit: Seeing a lot of people complaining about them being so short. Need I remind you the average height for Colombians is 5'7" for men, and 5'2.5" for women in modern times. It would have been shorter in the movie's time period. Camilo is still only 15 and he could easily have another growth spurt.

❛ Seeing your hand reached out to him, he’s suddenly struck with an idea. Grasping it in his, he gives you a gentle spin around that has you yelping out in surprise. A laugh leaves him and he uses the opportunity to pull you into a warm hug. You complain about his sudden behaviour and he smiles unseen behind your back. When he finally pulls away with an awfully smug grin on his face, you playfully hit his chest and say that he shouldn’t be so perfect. Pressing a kiss to the top of your head, he promises that next time he’ll let you lead, even though he adores teasing you. ❜

HUMS A TUNE WHILE LEADING YOU IN A DANCE

— Kaedehara Kazuha.

❛ When you nudge your hand in front of him, he’s a little lost on what he’s supposed to do. It takes a moment before he slides his hand into yours and takes a hold of your waist, before swinging you around. He hums a song under his breath, just loud enough for you to hear, and the both of you dance with no worry of anything else. When he finishes the tune, he bows at the waist and kisses the top of your knuckles like a noble at a ball. You smile at him, the little dance making you nearly float with happiness, and his lips lift up in return, the both of you exchanging words through those smiles alone. ❜

MAKES YOU PAT HIS HEAD

— Gorou.

❛ On seeing your hand outstretched towards him, his immediate reaction is to pull it insistently until you’re patting his soft head. When he lets go of your hand, you continue to pat his head, even going as far as to scratch behind his ears, and to your satisfaction, he leans further into your touch. His smile once you stop sends your heart into a flurry, and he takes the chance to grab your hand and take you to something he wanted to show you. He thinks he’s lucky to have someone like you with him, and he wants to keep you at his side forever, if only to get the best head pats filled with love. ❜

PLACES HIS CHIN ON YOUR PALM

— Childe.

❛ There’s no hesitation in his actions at all; the moment he saw your hand reached out towards him, he makes his way to you and places his chin right on your palm. You cup your hand around his chin and squeeze his cheeks, to his annoyance. His eyes twitch up to your face and he sees your gleeful expression as you play with his cheeks. A smile breaks out on his face, though now distorted, and you let go of him, satisfied. But he has no plans of letting you go that quickly, and he spins you around easily before dipping you towards the ground. His strength keeps you both in that position for longer than normally possible, and his face hovers close to yours, leaving you a flustered mess. He chuckles as you hit his arm and thinks about how you’re the only one for him. ❜

HOLDS IT AND SQUEEZES IT GENTLY

— Diluc Ragnvindr.

❛ He doesn’t realise at first, as he’s busy cleaning the bar. When you stretch your hand insistently in his line of vision, his eyes lift up to see your curious face. He looks back down at your hand, and sliding off his gloves, he softly takes it in his and gives it a squeeze. The surroundings quiet down, or maybe it’s just you who feels it, and it’s just the two of you who exist in this world. You intertwine your fingers with him and see a light dusting of pink across his cheeks. You chuckle inwardly and finally let go of his hand. To your surprise, he keeps his grip on your hand steady and you look at him with widened eyes. He wanted to show his love for you, in whatever way he possibly could. Maybe he should do this more often. ❜

HESITANTLY ENTWINES HIS FINGERS THROUGH IT.

— Xiao

❛ His eyes stare at your extended hand. He’s not sure why you were doing that, just that you seem to be expecting something from him. He lifts his hand up from his side hesitantly and threads his fingers between yours. When your smile appears and you squeeze his hand as a reassurance, he feels relieved that he hasn’t done anything wrong. It’s quiet between the two of you, but he isn’t annoyed by it. He rather enjoys these moments when it’s just you and him. He shifts his gaze over to your face to see that you’re already looking at him with a soft smile. He thinks that this, what he has with you, is something he would not be willing to give up. ❜

Warnings: well, the title just about says it

Scenario:

A dog WAS playfully CHASING YOU! Your worst nightmare, a reality!

Kaeya:

After a few attempts, Kaeya would successfully divert the dog's attention with the skewer he bought from Good Hunters.

He'd insist you come over to where the dog was happily munching on the chunks of chicken Kaeya gave it.

After much hesitation, you'd give in, and Kaeya went on to ask if you wanted to try to feed the dog.

"no."

Was Kaeya simply going to let you get away with "no" for an answer?

No!

He kept on insisting until you gave in, and when you did, your trembling hands actually managed to feed the do-

"BARK!"

Off you went around Mondstadt, again! Kaeya tried to grab your hand before you took off, but jokes on him! You were too fast.

Ahah... By the end of the day, you were exhausted.

Gorou:

"Hey! Stop chasing them!" Gorou shouted to that bastardly mutt hot on your trail.

The dog didn't even bother to turn its head to look at Gorou as it responded(?), "BÁRKK, BÄRRK. BARKK BÀRK! woœf BÂRK!"

Gorou sighed, "Denied. I'll say this once, stop before I have to step in."

"WÖOF ÅRf BBARK!!"

"No exceptions." he sharply stated, causing dog whined and finally, it stopped chasing you.

Praise Gorou!!!! After you catch your breath.

"Haah, thank goodness for you, Gorou!"

Gorou came unto your side and smiled in acknowledgment, "They shouldn't bother you again."

Chongyun:

Chongyun tried to heroically shoo the dog away from you, but instead, the dog turned around and began chasing him.

You unintentionally found yourself staring at the scene, pretty clueless on what to do. You would've tried finding the owner of the dog, but the dog looked like a stray, sooo. "

"CHONGYUN! UHH, WHAT SHOULD I DO?" "

GET X-XI-ANGLING!" "

OKAY!"

You ran as quickly as you could over the Wumin Restaurant and got Xiangling to properly shoo off the dog.

After that whole ordeal was over; (Chongyun would never fully recover from that incredibly embarrassing situation) you treated Chongyun out to a popsicle date, to show your appreciation to him!

Childe:

A dog began chasing you, but Childe wasn't worried. Not in the slightest. In fact, he looked like he was enjoying himself!

He'd yell out things with a smile like, "Hurry, the dog's catching up to you!"

It wasn't like Childe thought you were in actual danger, though. He easily saw that the dog's intent was playful; otherwise, he would've already sniped the dog.

"A-AJAX! GET THIS D-DOG AWAY FROM ME. PLEASE!"

After that, he'd tell you to run over to him, and when you did, you, without thinking, jumped onto him.

He briefly stumbled as you clutched onto him tightly. He, trying half-heartedly soothe you...

He'd try to get you down, but you begged him not to! Which, he gave into. He liked carrying you, so that's what he did until the dog stopped following you.

Kazuha:

Kazuha, with flawless timing, picked up the dog by its back and passively-aggressively stared at it.

The poor dog whined until Kazuha finally dropped the dog. The second he did, the dog scurried away.

"There, that's dealt with." Kazuha said, looking you in the eye, "Shall we continue what we were doing now?"

Baal:

She electrocutes the dog
