And now with season 4 out I just want to scream bc there are just so many positive emotions and how do I deal with that-

I like to think post Amphibia, Anne started to get into horse back riding. Like would go to those horseback riding summer camps at first and then ended up volunteering at a stable because she wanted to be able to get a taste of what it was like to be back on the Plantars Farm. I think she misses Bessie and I think the way she copes with that is getting involved with horses.

I don't often see it addressed how important Bessie was to Anne, more just the acknowledgement of how important the Plantars are. We see in Marcy's Journal that when Anne gets back to Amphibia in Season 3b she straight up sits down and rereads Bessie's entire manual. Bessie is a really good signifier of Anne's growth and we see repeatedly how much connection to animals is like an important part of Anne's growth as a person.

I think Anne needs to be able to get away from the city occasionally, I think Anne needs those moments away from LA again. Time to think. Time to be herself. Time to reflect on who she is. Working with horses can be an incredibly therapeutic thing, and genuinely I think it would help with Anne's mental health. It's hard to be worried about being next in line to be God when a horse is trying to steal a rake out of your hand.

Also the volunteer hours would look great on her college application

The fandom may be dead, but the Big Four was and probably will forever be my favorite crossover. There was just such a good balance between the characters in terms of design and personality. Sure, the timelines never lined up completely in canon, but it was fun imagining all the adventures these four could get into together. I have no context for why they are discussing battle plans, but I’m sure there are plenty of fanfics this could fit into. In season 3 there is an end-credits drawing of Callum and Rayla hugging while he is in his winged form. I thought that since Claudia has wings ✨ too now, I'd be cool to draw her and Terry like that.

Because if other fans see that and they happen to want to publish a fanfic (or already do) that you might actually like, they'll be more likely to decide against it. People can be really critical about their work and thus worry it might get that treatment even if many readers really enjoy it.

Some fics might not be your cup of tea but other people (or even just the author) might like them and thats normal and a great thing about fandom. No need to be negative, whats the point of doing it?

Today I saw certain (I hope younger) fandom members doing a thing on twitter where they called out fandom-famous fics and saying how bad they are.

And, no. We don't do that. We aren't rude to each other like that. If we don't like a fic we move on and find one we do like. We do not go slagging it off on twitter to make ourselves look cool.

Authors, artists, video editors, gif makers: all of these people give huge amounts of their time to provide you with content for free. They don't owe anyone anything, and being cruel about what anyone makes is below us as a fandom.
