The images coming out of Rafah are horrifying. They bombed a mosque full of displaced people who sought refuge. I saw a dead child's torn body hanging on a wall. The way bombs obliterate and tear the body is so horrific I can't imagine a parent witnessing this happening to their child. They are bombing rafah, the southernmost city in Gaza after the IOF have told the people of gaza to evacuate there. They were evacuated there to be stuck in a cage and bombed. There is no end to this. May the martyrs find paradise and death to the zionist regime

- i kinda like that she ended up looking like a mother-of-pearl inlay lacquerware!

- oh this was a subconscious choice, but Gale is sitting in seiza which is a posture for showing respect especially to elders. it's also known to be a painful position to sit in for extended periods of time, which is why it was sometimes used as a method of (morally dubious) punishment. however, experienced people can maintain this posture for much longer. food for thought :-)

- (idk how credible this is but i think this position also leaves the person sitting pretty vulnerable to attacks compared to a cross legged sit? in that sense it would be an even greater show of deference) edit: apparently this isn't exactly correct! I think this applies mostly for inexperienced people, but those who are trained a) their bodies adapt to the discomfort and b) they use techniques to get back up without using hands

i was going to make a post about my bg3 ideal blunt rotation, but realistically it would just be halsin. and that's not a rotation. that's just two people sharing a blunt. in the moonlight perhaps, sitting at the edge of a peaceful forest pond, listening to the frogs croak and the owls hooting softly in the trees. maybe it's a little cold and he lets you share his blanket to keep out the chill. maybe he puts his arm around you. i forget what i was saying. anyway.

gaza's health ministry reports that their hospitals have declared total collapse. they were already functioning at half capacity, using vinegar for antiseptic and operating on children without anaesthesia. and now they're gone, in a population were millions are living on the streets, where there is no longer any water so diseases are running rampant, where people are wearing masks because the bombing that has already decimated 50% of gaza's infrastructure and buildings has made breathing difficult for everyone due to the dust and ash in the air, where only 14 trucks of food or water or medical aid have been allowed to enter when the estimated need is over 500. imagine how it is for the 50,000 women in gaza who were pregnant before october 7th, for all the disabled residents, for all the diabetics, for the cancer patients, for the ICU patients, for the neonatal units, for people with severe burns, for people with broken bones
