i figured it was about time I do a blog intro, so hello! its so lovely to have you here! I'm bi_focal on ao3 and this blog is a mix of writing content, fandom, and fake tweets :)

In retrospective, bkdk as a ship is so funny and fucked at the same time cuz

And on actions that the other most probably will never know about "oh yeah I guess I did spend 8 YEARS WORTH OF TIME AND SALARY for him to go back to his dream so I could keep chasing him, cuz he's my idea of a hero you know, and I only cared for the rankings when that dude was around. And yes I did unlock many quirks due to being triggered because someway somehow I really care about that dude in ways no one comprehends cuz he chill haha"

this is kinda stupid but i googled heart monitors for two seconds and came to a conclusion
So summer daze (my MHA Coraline au) is literally kicking my ass rn and I cannot comprehend why but I had a fic idea yesterday and managed to crank out 8k words in nearly one sitting. And I know it’s me doing these things but somehow it feels like someone else is pulling the levers -_-
Lever 1: really developed idea but no writing

I like to think that teacher!Izuku has an apartment near campus where all of his Pro Hero friends sporadically drop by, sometimes bloody, sometimes with coffee, sometimes through the window cause they felt like it, and they look over Izuku’s shoulder while he grades and give running commentary or listen as Izuku describes the quirks/attitudes of his students or vents his frustration about them. All of the more consistent visitors have their own mug in his cup cabinet. Katsuki has two bc he’s a sore loser and doesn’t like to be outshined. Everyone thinks the Dynamight mug is his but actually that’s Izuku’s.
One time Denki comes in through the window at 2am like a drunk elephant, horrifically tangled in Shinso’s capture weapon (he was messing around with it and couldn’t figure out how to get free, ended up making it worse) and Izuku, startled and still half-asleep, throws a pen at him because it’s the first thing he sees and they’re both so embarrassed about the whole thing they swear each other to secrecy.

This panel gives me so much hope that post-war “my eye bags have eye bags” Izuku got the help he needed from his friends/teachers/Inko and he finally got to work through his complicated emotions and slowly but surely was able to be a (somewhat) normal teenager- going to the arcade with Bakugou after therapy and having sleepovers with his friends, etc, as they all worked to rebuild the broken world around them into something better

It’s so important to me that Deku got to say the words he wanted to hear so badly as a kid. He wanted to save people with a smile like All Might and here he does. He surpasses All Might, actually, and not because of a quirk or his strength but because he has a heroic heart and mha has always been about discovering what it really means to be a hero.

The other day I made some progress on my WIP Cat-suki (quirk accident where Bakugou turns into a cat when stressed/anxious) and this is how it started:
“Stop poking me,” Bakugou told Recovery Girl.
“Stop getting hurt,” Recovery Girl shot back, tapping Bakugou’s knee with a small hammer to test his reflexes.
Bakugou used the opportunity to try and kick Recovery Girl’s shin.
And this is where it went:
“Why the fuck are you doing this?” Bakugou asked, the bluster in his voice not enough to distract from the quickened pace of his breathing.
“Because you are in my care.” Aizawa answered, rising from his chair.
Bakugou’s head shot up from where he’d been stubbornly focused on his knees.
“Because you are safe,” Aizawa continued, taking a measured seat at the farthest end of Bakugou’s cot.
Beyond the window they both faced, the sun was beginning to settle over Heights Alliance. Midoriya’s flustered voice carried over from the dorms.
Aizawa let loose a slow sigh and he let Bakugou hear the weariness in his tone.
“Because we all struggle with something.”
Katsuki Bakugou has reflected on that singular river incident for too long for him and Deku not to have a hand holding/grabbing moment before the manga ends
