Glup shittos: a fake name used online to refer to returning characters from the Star Wars extended universe in newer mainstream Star Wars media, which are known and praised by hardcore fans but unknown to the more general audience.

Blorbo: (from my show) is a slang term for a person's favorite fictional character and is used similarly to terms such as Glup Shitto and Scrimblo Bimblo. Though initially intended as a mocking way to describe Tumblr fandoms, it began seeing more use among fandoms as it became popularized in early 2022.

Blorko: On Dec 18 2021 Twitter user @mrbasil_pesto tweet “My favorite bit of Marvel films is when you sit through nine minutes of credits to watch a five second clip of some guy stepping through a doorway and saying “It’s me, Blorko.”

Scrimblo Bimblo: fictional video game character used in a viral tweet to exaggeratedly describe how angry some Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players get when their favorite characters from nostalgic games aren't added to the game, particularly when JRPG characters are added in favor of them. The name is also used broadly to refer to frequently requested Smash characters, and as a sort of insult towards people who demand them.

Scrunkly: (Awww The Scrunkly, continued 🥰🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 Double Tap Now if You'd Scrunkly the When😆) is a nonsense phrase and copypasta featured in a series of image macros, often attached to random images and images of animals that have an indefinable "scrunkly" quality to them. The first example of the meme features a low-res image of a fox and was posted to Instagram in May 2021.

Eeby Deeby refers to an impersonation of robot speak and has since been used in a series of edited comics whose speech bubbles have been edited to have one character say "Your dick cold" and the other say "Eeby Deeby." Often, the two characters will be situated such that it can look like they're having sex. The trend started with an edit of a still from a Buck Rogers comic strip of the robot character Twiki before it was adapted to fit multiple images online.

Eeby Deeby elevator meme on Feb. 1, from Tumblr user @theweirdwideweb, uploaded an image of an elevator with the caption, "Where the f*ck is this thing taking me?" The elevator floor on the screen isn't a number; instead it reads, “eeby deeby,” original the elevator had a UwU face

Horse Plinko refers to a viral animated GIF of a horse falling through a Plinko board as it bounces off pegs. Originating from a demonstration video for a computer science paper,

Throckmorton, also known as John Thomas sign, refers to when the penis points in the direction of unilateral disease, typically of the pelvis or hip. Throckmorton sign is a slang term used humorously by medical students

Cousin Throckmorton, aka Throcky, refers to a fictional character who appeared in a physics textbook word problem. In the problem, "Cousin Throckmorton" is a skateboarder, and the student is tasked with discovering the speed at which he descends a ramp and the force acting on him at the bottom of his descent. Once a Twitter user posted a screenshot of the question, it spread on social media, with people making jokes about Cousin Throckmorton, the skateboarder.

eeby deeby origins

So basically i was going to make a post explaining eeby deeby, but then I was doing Meme Research and discovered that my previous claim that the elevator eeby deeby meme and the “your dick cold” eeby deeby meme are unrelated is actually false!

So, if you look up eeby deeby you will be taken to this Know Your Meme page, which may confuse you more, and seems completely unrelated. basically the eeby deeby meme documented here was someone editing a comic panel to make a joke about robot penises? the “eeby deeby” here is supposed to be like, robot noises or something.

EDIT: it turns out this is a comic of Buck Rogers, which had a TV show in the 70s. The robot here, Twiki, apparently makes an “eeby deeby” noise a lot (usually written out as “bidibidi”). I found a clip of this on youtube here. (thank you to @accumulus​ for this information!)

The current eeby deeby meme originated from this image of a weird elevator display:

So i was like “ok these things are unrelated it’s just that they happen to contain the same nonsense phrase”.

But then I tried to find the original post of the elevator image, so I googled “where the fuck is this thing taking me” and got this tweet from 2018:

This appears to have been its own meme, but I haven’t heard of it before today. Seeing as these photos are identical except for the text display, the eeby deeby image is an edit of the UwU elevator joke. Edit 2/18: There is more to the UwU elevator meme than I have here, and this photo is probably an edit as well, but this post has honestly gotten long enough already so I’m not including much about it, even though I probably should. This post has gotten to the point that several old versions are the more circulated ones (a lot of people are reblogging it without the info about Twiki) so I guess it doesn’t matter.

So I reverse image searched the eeby deeby elevator image: (sidenote: look at what happened when i did:)

And I got some weird results but I found an important result from imgur! Note: as of when I am making this post (Feb 6 2021), the eeby deeby meme only showed up on tumblr like 5 days ago.

MetaPathos is, as far as we know, the original poster of the “your dick cold” edit.

Edit 2/18: So, I checked the Know Your Meme page and its comments again, and I saw this comment:

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know how Imgur works (as in how to properly navigate it and what the site’s culture is, I just know how one would use it to post images on a petsim forum), so I have not been able to find the original eeby deeby elevator post. I did, however, find this post, but it is not by onewallpaperaweek. It’s also newer than one MetaPathos posted, so it’s definitely not the original. I also found these two posts by MetaPathos about the spread of Eeby Deeby, so I suggest checking them out. x x.

Good question! I don’t really know how to find out where the jokes about eeby deeby started because tumblr’s search function sucks eggs, but a reblog of what appears to be the first time eeby deeby elevator was posted on tumblr (Feb 1 2021) that combines “you are going to brazil” with eeby deeby was posted on Feb 2 2021:

There’s text over it saying, “You are going to eeby deeby”.  /End ID] EDIT: In an earlier version of this post, I said that this was related to the superhell meme, but upon Further Research it’s most likely more closely related to “You Are Going To Brazil”. Shoutout to @can-you-maybe-chill’s tags for making me realize this wasn’t in fact the case. Update: @the-jade-palace​ has since confirmed that this was not a superhell joke, but in fact a “You Are Going To Brazil” joke. 

I, and many others, mistook this for a reference to the superhell joke because I had not actually seen the episode or full scene, and had seen this gif posted multiple times in reference to the superhell thing. It is not, in fact, a clip from Supernatural, but a clip from the movie Spawn, which… I don’t know much about but I found the clip of this scene in this youtube video (put link here) and the movie looks rather strange. Seeing as the superhell joke is very popular (because it’s funny) and many people thought this gif was from that scene (I have a lot of people in the tags saying “wait it’s not from supernatural” in response to my first update to this post in which I clarified this), I think this may have contributed to the spread of eeby deeby and the establishment of “eeby deeby” as some sort of place.

There is also this post, which I recall as being the first time I saw eeby deeby outside of the original elevator post:

SO TL;DR: eeby deeby originated as a meme about robot dick but then an edited UwU elevator meme made its way onto tumblr and we all lost our minds over A Funny Phrase.

I mean.

Can you imagine season 4/5 Dean realizing he's attracted to a "monster"? That not only is Castiel not human, but also a man. How much John would have hated that and how many sleepless nights have Dean spent thinking about it?

Then he starts caring more and more about Cas,m until one day Dean realizes that it isn't just attraction or friendship that he's feeling. But how could it be anything else but unrequited? Angel don't feel that way, can't feel that way.

And Cas keeps dying and every time it feels like a part of Dean dies too, except it never comes back, even when Cas does.

Dean spends years burying his feelings, believing that it could never be shared or acted on, that Cas will never be able to love him back in the same way. Yet unable to seek a relationship with anyone else because he doesn't want anyone else. If all Cas can give him is friendship and devotion, Dean will take it. He'll take anything as long as Cas stays by his side (except he never really does, does he?)

Then Cas confesses and Dean is shocked, left gaping and unable to find words because he never believed he would get to talk about this. He has so many things to say and all those words are stuck in his throat. There are just so many of them that he's chocking on it all, unable to get anything out except Cas' name. And then he realizes it's his last chance to say them. That even if Cas loves him back, Dean will never get another chance to say it, to live it.

Cas throws him to the side and that's it, it's over, Cas is disappearing before his very eyes and he still doesn't know that he's loved, that he was always loved. Dean's mouth is opened all along around the words he can't bring himself to say, that he's hidden for so long that he can't find them fast enough.

Cas is gone and Dean's words turn into sobs.

Superhell - A very condensed history!

I like to think literally everyone in town knows they're wanted by multiple US agencies but are like. they've evaded arrest so many times. do we really wanna anger the serial killers? no one in town has been killed let's not push it. and then the longer it goes on they begrudgingly start to like the winchesters because they tip well and are generally helpful around the community. plus their son is an absolute delight and everyone wants to figure out what's going on between dean and the weird trenchcoat guy who hangs around sometimes. like, they can't turn them into the cops before getting resolution on their relationship! the town has a betting pool! sam starts a community garden and dean jumps at the chance to help with odd jobs if he over hears people complaining about something when he's hanging out. they're politer than most of the normal locals.
