I love all kinds of fanart of Vash. I like it when he is depicted as a long limbed twink who is spindly and clumsy.

But I have a different kind of appreciation when he is drawn as the brick SHITHOUSE that he is. Like this man's shoulder should be wide enough to not fit through the damn doorframe. He is clumsy because he is so large and still wears an oversized coat to hide that fact.

He should need indicator lights and blare "beep-beep" when he turns around or moves backwards. He is a himbo in my mind comparable with Kronk.

Yes, ik he canonically isn't massively tall, hence he isn't crazy wide either, BUT in my head he is 7ft tall and nothing will sway me on that. So I will always greatly appreciate any art where he looks like a damn goliath.

there's something about this light cone that has been driving me wild and clown bonkers for a good while and its the fact that the animated version of this picture has different lines than the light cone description

and those lines, where sparkle is acting for sampo, makes him ask "where did you hide my mask?" to which she answers "what do you mean, sampo, isn't your mask right there on your face?"

which seems to be sparkle being silly but. this bears this assumption that while sparkle fully believes that she sees a mask on his face, sampo has a different mask entirely, which could, indeed, just literally be his human face. he asks for his mask because his real face IS this red mask we see here ala!aha's masks, which honestly just reminds me of The King in Yellow in the most chilling of ways

Don't you just love how Sampo's wanted poster has a much more "clean" look compered to the Astral Express' crew? Like:

The linework for the Astral Express crew is wonky and shaky, showing that they were made in a rush (I mean look at March's right eye). The hands... there's like 2-3 fingers.

Sampo's on the other hand... The linework is clean (if not a bit wonky), the expression is clear in what it wants to convey, and the colours are inside the lines.

Really shows who has been the Belobog menace for the longest time.
