Eveytime I see a really good fanfic idea I always get the urge to write it, this is one of those moments.

But alas... I'm too lazy to do so...

Someone please write a fanfic on this so I can at leat read it.

I would've loved if the movie ended with Leo still in the Prison Dimension. Not just because of the angst, but because Leo and Kraang would've been each other's warden.

Because imagine if Leo didn't immediately give up when the portal closed. Imagine if he constantly gave it his all and fought Kraang every second of every day. But neither one was winning.

We could've had Leo and Kraang in a stalemate for months. Raph, Donnie, and Mikey racing against the clock because Leo can't fight forever.

Mikey is only strong enough to open a portal for a few seconds. And, every time he does, he sees the both of them fighting tooth and nail just to overpower the other. Mikey's never seen Leo this intense. This ruthless.

The longer Leo is in the prison dimension, the more ruthless he gets. There's a reason Kraang hasn't been able to kill him yet....

It gets to the point where, unknowing to Raph and Donnie, Mikey questions whether or not Leo should be allowed out of the prison dimension-

Folks are over-using the term “AU”

I’ve added the “Canon Compliant” tag to all of my comics on ao3, because I’ve noticed a strange amount of people calling “The Brains and The Brawn” an “AU” or “Alternate Universe”, when… it’s not…?

An “Alternate Universe” story takes place in a universe completely different from the canon - think Fantasy AUs, High School AUs, or fics using the same characters as canon but a plot from a different story (which could lead into “crossovers”, but I digress).

Yet I see folks misuse this term for LOTS of fics or comics, and as someone who prides themselves in trying to get their comics as close to canon as possible, it admittedly makes me feel like I’m failing a bit at that if people are calling my comics “alternate universes” since I usually intend them to slot somewhere into the canon storyline.

I would call the main comics I’ve created so far to be “Canon Compliant” which are stories with the same characters, setting, and plot, and no big changes to the canon (examples are missing scene fics, fics based on canon character backstories (think “turtle tots”), or other general fics meant to be seen as an “episode” of the show).

There’s also “Canon Divergent” or “Universe Alteration” which are stories with the same characters, same setting, and same plot up until the plot diverges from a specific point in the canon and things after that point are altered (plot may or may not swing back around to fit back into the canon) (examples: LFLS, what if x character lived/died after a certain point, what if a certain battle was lost/won? etc.) I point out “Like Father, Like Son” here because while it is not my story, @eternalglitch​ has stated on numerous occasions that it is a “Universe Alteration”. It’s the same universe, not an alternate one. Some events just changed the plot in a major way. The events altered the universe, not the other way around.

So anyway, that’s my little TED talk for the day; just letting folks get to know their tags and fan stories better. I’m also trying to be clearer with my tags and how I present my stories so folks get a better understanding for them.

Prolonged Agony Cover Art

End of the movie… or at least it should've been.

The Krang successfully grabbed Leo's leg and pulled him back into the prison dimension. When, unable to keep it open, the portal closes. Locking him in the void with the most malicious creature he's ever met.

Now it's a race against time to bring Leo home. But with each attempt they see Leo deteriorate… and Mikey starts to question whether or not Leo should be allowed out of the prison dimension at all.

I was meant to release this the same day I publish Chapter 20 but I got excited and couldn't wait so here you go!

This took me forever to do. I knew I wanted to do some kind of cover art from my fic, but I had no idea where to start. Art isn't my strongest point, I'm better at writing lol, but I think I did a pretty good job with this.

The idea came when I looked through some offical TMNT comic covers and decided to redraw one of those. The cover I chose is from The Last Ronin. I just liked the layout and concept, so I redrew it to fit my fic.

Leo had a garden.

He loved his garden.

And if anything were to happen to him, he knew his family would look after it for him.

So when he didn't make it out of the Prison Dimension alive his family adopted the garden as their own.

I finally finished it!

After weeks of writing what should've taken a few days, from something that was meant to be only be around 2-3 thousand words to now 10,000+, I am now proud to say IT IS DONE!

Of course I procrastinated by drawing art for it as well, but I enjoyed writing this peice.

Hal has none of his previous memories but believes that if he forgot them so easily then that means they weren't that important to him in the first place. *Shrug*

Due to Donnie leaving him behind, Hal remains formless. 

Hal is reclusive, withdrawn and sarcastic. 

Hal spends a lot of time twirling and vibrating the spiked ball at the end of his chain in his formless self. 

He finds Fundi and Tonfa to be too loud for him, but he gets along with Oda who is more than willing to chill in silence. 

When the young turtles took the other weapons but left Hal behind Hal didn't mind much. Rather he saw this as a well needed break from Fundi's and Tonfa's excessive talking. 

Hal has no sense of time, sometimes days feel like hours and sometimes hours feel like days. 

Hal is more than happy to let his blade go blunt. 

Hal doesn't hate the turtles for leaving him behind. 

Oda is the only one Hal could talk to about his insecurities. 

Hal would feel guilty when he panicked Tonfa.

Does Hal miss the other spirits now that he's alone…? Maybe. A little. A teeny tiny part of him does wish he wasn't alone but he never acknowledges this part of him.
