Brace yourselves, everybody: The fascists of 4chan are planning an anti-LGBT social media blitz starting June 1 for Pride Month
Expect to see a lot of alt-right bots and sockpuppets doing everything possible to increase tension, division, and bad feelings in the LGBTQ+ community.
Basic guidelines:
Focus on your own goals and experiences for Pride Month—instead of just responding to the latest outrage, focus on connecting to people you care about, doing things you enjoy, promoting good causes, sharing media you like, or fundraising for organizations doing good work.
If you see someone promoting hateful or divisive opinions, don’t engage with them and boost their metrics—block and report them
Remember that a lot of troll operations aim to make us feel hopeless and divided. Trolls take our community’s existing vulnerabilities and divisions, and weaponize them. These trolls will be leaning hard on filling social media with new stories about homophobic and transphobic violence and suicide statistics, so we’re upset, in a defensive mentality, and feeling isolated and alone. We have to work together to promote solidarity and positivity.
Double-check news stories before spreading them. Be extra suspicious before you signalboost something. Screencaps can be fabricated; so can videos and images. Google for other sources, check reputable news sites, or look it up on Snopes
Don’t assume people are who they say they are. Trolls will especially assume identities they can use to promote division. They’ll pose as LGBT people so they can inflame infighting or attack LGBT people with fewer consequences, or to frame different groups for misdeeds.
Take care of yourself and don’t let them get you down. Pride 2020 has a huge damper because we can’t do a lot of the things that help us renew and recharge. Being in quarantine means we miss out on festivals, dancing, parades, performances, workshops, and important community-building events. We were already going to have to work to make it a decent Pride at a distance. 4chan wants to make things even worse, so that so we end up feeling paranoid, hypervigilant, abandoned, and at each other’s throats. Do your best to promote your own mental health and everybody else’s, and unplug from social media when you need to.
Happy Pride month and for this month I decided to create, this little tribute where I drew my favorite ship (as of now) Izuku x Ochako, BUT! i drew them in different genders such as M x M F x F and F x M. The point of it is to show that no matter the gender people are who they are on the inside.
Now after my friend Stella Bluegirl said this would be a fun thing to challenge people to draw to see how they would do it. so as I post this. I CHALLENGE Stella Bluegirl Jasmine Dirck Daniele Rudoni (if he's not busy) and anyone who is interested to this challenge to see how they would pull this off.
I could use this practice
Pose/perspective practice stuff
Another year, another day to show thanks to my mom for all the hard work she's ever done for me and everyone. You are the most precious flower of all. Love you Mom.
how could i play ffxv and not think about what is perhaps my favorite spongebob episode of all time
After a little talk with my friends and a months work of drawing I have completed the 6 Fan-art Challenge. Now for the reason why everyone is surfing is because when someone suggested Pikachu and the only thing that came to my head was the surfing Pikachu from Pokemon Snap, then someone said Phineas and I remembered the time he went surfing, then Someone said Tanjiro and I knew he makes water come from his blade or something. Then I knew exactly what must be done. If there are any complements or critiques please, please and please let me know I love constructive feed back so let me have it
Pikmin was such a great game and this gave me good feels.
End of the day
Surprised Whinter pass it on
I’m an artist and i need this
After years of collecting many quotes Tammy has said over the years I decided to make a meme out of one of them.
#tamarinfrog #meme #whatdidimemenow #fanartdigital #frog
This looks great, love how you can tell what he’s thinking by looking at him. Though i feel like there can be more follow through animation, however this was just a test for clear lines so if thats what you where just going for thats cool. And I just love how you made his spiral a mouth good touch with that
Practicing more clear animation with steve!
He’s all like
“Meh, whatever, i’ll kick your ass dweeb!”
The wait is over Super Markio Maker 2 is out and about go to the link to see for yourself on how big of an “EEEEE-X-Pert” he is in this game.
Out of all of them though I still love driftloon and driftlim cough-suggested them bith-cough. Seriously though despite their cute and huggable design the way she draws them make them eerie and scary. The background helps though
Spooky pokemon I drew on stream
This will be a big help, thank you
Remember this? If you’ve done any classes or seen any tutorials, you’re bound to see this thing. I personally fell in love with it. It’s very easy to get a feel for the movement of the face & jaw, the general placement of the head and how the character will look.
There’s not too much of a wrong way to do it. Just remember this:
The circle is not the whole head, it only encompasses what would be your skull without the jaw attached (if you wanna draw a skull tho, you need a bit more than the circle. Those things are more complex than you think.)
Add a jaw before placing the guidelines.
The neck connects to the jaw with a small pouch, important for profiles. (See an example below.)
The guidelines, to me, are really for seeing the width of the motion, the placement of the features. Occasionally, I don’t even use the guidelines. Sometimes I put features like the eyebrows, eyes, and mouth to remember the expression later when I go back and finish the linework (which tends to change slightly).
Use the guidelines in whichever way you want. I tend to do one of two things:
Put the eyes on the line, using the end of the triangle to find the end of the nose
Put the eyes under the line, using the triangle more for determining the size of the eyes and expression.
Whatever feels right it what you should do. More you fiddle with it the better you get:
Remember this when making expressions- squash and stretch.
The longer the jawline, the wider the mouth is, the thinner the face is.
Look at references of real people with different expressions. How does their face squash or stretch?
Common expressions with stretch: Gasps, Yawns, Ear-to-Ear Smiles, Any Time They Yell.
Common expressions with squash: Pouts, Frowns, Closed-Mouth Smiles, Clenched Jaws, Furrowed Brows.
The only time I don’t make the circle first is when the head is tilted up and I need to see some of that little area under the jawline.
Reminder: This is my personal shortcut and what works for me might not work for you! Don’t worry if it doesn’t work for you!
I start with the jawline then curve up to the top of the head and make the circle last, just to get a feel for where everything will go and the curve of the head -I usually make the back of the head too small- then you can add the features. I suggest always connect the head to the neck before doing anything else.
(It all gets easier with practice. Look at references- I don’t suggest looking up ‘drawing reference’ or you’ll get a bunch of drawings, which may help for in-style work, but, looking at real humans always beats drawings. look up ‘figure’ ‘face’ ‘head’ and ‘art reference’.)
Children have tall foreheads and a small area for their facial features. I remember one tutorial that helped me with children was that you don’t put the eyes in the circle like you would with an adult/teen, but under it.
Welp, that’s about it. The best teacher is time, and the more you do it the better you get! Have fun and just keep at it!
Part 2 for faces: Guidelines & Features
Want to see more tutorials? Tell me what you’d like to see me cover. This confuse you or you’re stuck on something? Tell me and maybe show me what you’re working on and I can help to the best of my ability!
God this animation is gorgeous isn’t it?

How’d you learn to draw mechas? I’ve been wanting to try that myself for a while, and I know as an artist that the only way to learn is to just Do it, but it’s so daunting! I have no idea where to begin. Do you have any advice or tips? Thank you for your time!
Okay first of all, sorry to take so long to answer. I really wanted to draw some pics for this, and the last weeks have been quite busy.
Drawing is like learning a new language: You can’t say you wanna learn English and then just start making up your own words because you think that finding words in the dictionary is cheating - It doesn’t make sense. Find a super cool robot picture and try to copy it. These are called “studies” for a good reason. You’re studying the vocabulary of those drawings. Many times people don’t share their studies since it’s only for the practice. But don’t study just one person. You don’t want to become that person - you want to become better! And if you post your study online, don’t forget to credit the original artist!
One of my favorite techniques is something I call color blocking - I’m not sure if it’s an actual term or just something I came up with. I kind of carve the silhouette of the robot with one color and then I add a second color and carve the details in. I do this also if I have a picture with lots of characters and I want to make sure everything reads correctly. But these are all personal matters. Try different techniques until you find a one that works for you. And remember to flip your canvas!!
My favorite brushes vary, but these three are the ones I keep using more than the others. Kyle’s brush I got used to while I was working on my freelance work - it just feels good to draw with. The square one is really fun to work with in mecha designs, and the basic one also feels surprisingly good while drawing. Sometimes I just grab a new brush, start doodling, and end up with a decent piece.
This one I included especially because I’m talking about robots. Breaking up the machines with asymmetrical parts gives them more character BUT it’s important to keep the symmetry in mind. If I do a robot that has a one big arm and one small arm, I later make sure that most of the other parts are symmetrical. This way the asymmetry is the choice rather than a mistake.
Yes, I added this the second time because I really feel it’s important! I use Pinterest all the time - I have a board with over 1000 pins of robots! There are paintings from my favorite robot artists, 3D models of super cool robot designs, and even photos of real robots all collected in one place. And for anyone who feels “wrong” doing this: Finding reference DOESN’T mean copying - it can be just an idea or inspiration: It’s finding the language you want to use. Sure you won’t need the reference as much later on as you build your own “shape-vocabulary” - just like you won’t need your dictionary after you have learned the words you use.
I’m never 100% happy with my work. But I have learned to say “oh well” and move on. Next time I’ll do better.
Don’t talk down your own work no matter how much you’d like to. If you’re not standing behind your drawings, who will? Sure you do see the mistakes, but it’s still a great piece of art you made!
Hello everyone I know I haven't been uploading much, but that's because right now I'm working on a few animation projects one of them will be an animated Markiplier having "fun in super Mario Maker 2. If you want to stay update on the progress of this you can subscribe to my channel on you-tube for more info. Markiplier is owned by Mark Super Mario Maker 2 is owned by Nintendo the idea is all mine the channel where the animation will be uploaded is going to be here: www.youtube.com/channel/UC_3Ls…
I seen Asexuality, seems very legit to me
I'm trying to prove something.
Ok, so one time I was thinking about how Marvel's Falcon became the new Captain America and thought what if people called him Captain Falcon, but remembered how there already was a Captain Falcon. That's when this joke apread, and I already thought that someone out there has already made this joke so I thought I'd make Sam a little miffed about this. But seriously I love the fact that Sam became the new Captain America and how he's going to have his own movie. mostly because this was long overdue and I wanted to see more of him on his own or apparently with Bucky. Either way can't wait to buy the ticket when the movie comes out.
Happy Birthday Tammy I still remember a long time ago back in like 2009 where you made that NBC x red ridding hood comic and how you thought you deserved an Emmy for it Well for your birthday gift I drew you winning one. Thanks for all the memories you gave the community, being an inspiration for me and a lot of other artists, and having fun Saturday Art streams. enjoy your banana-fly cake... hmmm banana-fly cake... (get's idea for next year)
Oh god that’s my favorite TV show their paroding, I love it! I also love Acrana to
I remembered that this exact scene existed and i honestly could not help myself wheeeze.
Honestly I like this story the voice actors and I just love BW’s design
Please welcome Amber Midthunder as the voice of BW!
Amber is an extremely talented young actress. Mostly known for her main role on the FX produced Marvel show “Legion” portraying Kerry Loudermilk. She’s also been featured in such films as “Hell or High Water”, “Priceless” and TV shows such as “Roswell, New Mexico” and “Longmire”. Her first speaking role was at the age of nine opposite Alan Arkin in the indie film “Sunshine Cleaning”.
She also has a hand at writing and directing, her 2013 short film “Don’t” won 1st prize at the Native Cinema Showcase.
Amber brought such a natural, down to earth sense to the character, something we wanted to contrast with the cartoonyness of the rest of the cast. We’re extremely grateful she could bring this character to life!
Best home improvement ever
i found this great site that lets you create 3d models and floor plans of custom homes! you can even put in furniture and customize wallpapers/floors!! it has everything you could ask for!! you can use it make ref pictures of your oc homes or just make your dream house!
this is what i manged to make
I Can’t get off my mind how they Tsuyu would be a great hero to kids when she goes Pro, And this thought accord to me “if kids would dress up as her and go -ribbit- would that bring a smile to her face?” the answer would be an obvious yes.
Real life is a great inspiration
Some original mocap footage used to animate the characters in the first Mortal Kombat game!
Always the wannabee agent and never the actual agent Alright get this when I was enjoy another TamarinFrog Art Stream she told that if BUT SHE WON'T do another inkopolis comic based on the game she would have Arnick become Agent 4 and would learn the identities of all the other agents in her universe, plus she would make Tetrox agent 8. And since he finds it hard to believe that these kinds of people are all agents he would flip more than an acrobat. Especially if his Octo roommate/ possible lover was one.
Alright so last week I was at Cincinnati Animatic con and had the time of my life. One of the best events was seeing all the people dress up as characters and the first one I wanted to do to remember that time was this guy right here who cosplayed as one of my favorite superheros Static Shock. With all due respect this drawing this was as fun as meeting the guy who dressed as Static. BTW he won the ribbon in a beyblade tournament not a costume contest. not sure if he won that
