My professor asked me what happened this last half of the semester; I was seven weeks behind, nearly failed, and did poorly on all my other classes.

I told her that my heart just wasn't in it.

I couldn't let her know that the One Piece brainrot set in and I physically couldn't focus on anything other than doomed siblings ASL, episodes, plot analysis, and everything that had Ace's name or face attached to it drew me in like a moth to a flame.
