Catching back up with some OC doodles!

This is Rowena Galen. She was originally my Steven Universe Ruby OC that I turned human, that I turned into a witch, but I'm not for that witchcraft thing anymore, so she's a regular human now.

I have so many story lines for this character (she's my favourite, obviously). The sword alludes to her occupation as a knight.

I've recently decided to resurrect her, and I've been doodling some potential new designs.

Look tumblr, I only came here to post my art and consume fan fiction. Just because I visited the blog of someone who's so deep into online politics that they don't know what the real world looks like anymore doesn't mean that I want to see more posts about it. I just wanted to see if they had anymore dpxdc content!

I block/hit the 'not interested' button when posts I have not interest in disrupt my scrolling. Sorry if I happened to have blocked you. We don't have the same interests 🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️

If you care more about whether a Christian woman wears pants or has tattoos than you do about her walk with God or how welcomed she feels to fellowship with you and your church, you are doing something very very wrong

It’s absolutely WILD to me that people can witness actual literal miracles and tell me God doesn’t exist.

My friend needed surgery and she was terrified. There was a good chance she was going to lose her foot. And despite not being any form of Christian she asked me to pray for her because she was so scared. So I prayed for her. I got hundreds of other Catholics to pray for her. And on the morning of her surgery, the doctors told her the problem was gone. They didn’t need to go forward with the surgery. Her foot was fine. She was healed.

And to this day, she tells me that the Church takes good people and turns them into bad people. Fills their heads with lies.

My sister, those “bad people” are the ones who prayed for your healing. Which you received. Because you asked for it. You had one moment of faith and it saved you. You saw it. Witnessed it. Lived it. Blessed because of it. That wasn’t a lie.

And I’ve seen behavior like this more often than I’d like to admit.

So now when someone says “why didn’t God do X?” My response is “would it have changed your mind?”

An Oc of mine from a dystopian-type short story I want to write. In her world, people willingly get their natural body parts replaced with robotics. Being a flesh and blood human is seen as barbaric.

She wants to be 100% robot, just like the most popular and well-respected people in society. Obviously, there's a catch and she may have gone too far to avoid it.
